carl1489 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Downloaded a lot of mods for my Skykids playthrough, I've now discovered a lot of missing textures and don't know which mod is causing the issue. Â Â Basically, I go into the smithing menu and several of the armours and clothing don't have an image on the right side, and if I craft one of these items and then equip it, I'm left with a floating head, hands, feet and a completely invisible body. I might have downloaded mods for a different child mod, I don't have a clue. What I know is the item description always starts 'Kids:' and ends x117 or FX117. I can't recall any of the specific things missing but they always start and end like this...any ideas please?
gaggedgirl123 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Well the first thing is, invisible armor and weapons are usually missing models, or stuff that's not actually meant to happen in-game (like equipping children's clothing on adults)Though if you're playing a child race, it might just be some mod that didn't install its meshes correctly. Also make sure you didn't overwrite them on accidentMissing textures will look purple. BRIGHT purple.

The creator might not post there but I am pretty sure others might be able to post and help. A few spoilers with the captures of what you believe is missing would help as well focus those trying to help you there. Â There is literally a book that has been written there for support and diagnosis of tech support issues. Chances are there is an answer there in the oP for you as well. At least something to show that you have tried to resolve that issue (I usually quote a small section to show that i read something but am still doing something wrong .. you know to show that I didn't just download and not read the instructions )
myuhinny Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 When putting something on and your body disappears along with invisible armor could mean that you are using a body that is not compatible with the armor.
