Guest ffabris Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 So how about this? You give me Mylor as a stand-alone follower and I'll try a new game with Skyrim Unbound. I so love what you do! Haha... I don't take bribes! And thanks, I'm glad to hear it!
Mylor41 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Well, you don't have to take it as a bribe. You could just consider it more valuable content you are providing for your adoring fans. Like me.
Guest ffabris Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Haha! I'm currently working with Ulrorn again.
Mushano Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I hate to ask this, since you've done so much already... I'm very much a noob when it comes to editing mods for Skyrim in general, but when I created a patch using ASIS, I noticed that the values from the USLEEP patch was being overwritten/reverted to the original values because that's what Skyhunks is based off of. So if possible, I was wondering if you could incorporate USLEEP as a base/master so that I wouldn't have to manually edit all the values again. (Also, I have no idea how to reattach the dead body cleanup script that USLEEP adds to most of the NPCs.) Otherwise, love all your work and mods!
Guest ffabris Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Yes I could do that, I guess. But I have lots of people bitching at me for those mods where I do have USLEEP as master. So, I'm damned if I do, and dammed if I don't, basically. I use SkyHunks as is, and USLEEP as well. I don't modify SkyHunks for USLEEP and it seems OK. But, I don't actually play the game.
Mushano Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Haha, yeah. I wish there was a easier way to incorporate the changes I want, since I'm actually trying to play the game once through (finally got a stable build going!). I'm not sure why people don't want USLEEP as a master, but I don't know what alternatives there is to ensure the game remains as stable as possible. A USLEEP patch/version? But I didn't want to create even more work for you... so I'll respect your decision and hope for the best!
Guest ffabris Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I don't know ... some seem to think that USLEEP is one giant bug. I got into a discussion about it once, and it didn't end well. :-| As for adding USLEEP as a master... not sure that would be enough given that the changes I made are based on the vanilla game. I could try and post it here, see if it works. You up to testing it?
Guest ffabris Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Alternate thought: If you have already made a patch (or edited my original) and are willing to upload it, I can post it to the d/l page with credit. Edit. NM, I figured out how to do it... drag'n'drop, basically. Easy. Not going to change the tiny layer records though... I think that would make it necessary to recreate facegendata. Right?
Mushano Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I'm not sure how far you've gotten, but I don't mind testing. Adding USLEEP as a master is necessary for some of the AI Packages they've implemented/changed, AFAIK. And yeah, I'm going to go with your layer changes because I think that's dependant on what you did to "beef up" the hunks. Here's my edited version, with a change to also make them protected (cause I also use a NPC protected mod and had to include that change). However, like I said, it's missing the semi-necessary(?) clean up scripts. SkyHunks.rar Edit: Oops. Also I forgot I modified the race of Tullius, Severio Pelagia and one other person back to the original, so that some of the race perks would apply correctly. However, I think doing that messed up their faces, so you might have to edit that back.
Guest ffabris Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Thanks! I'm actually pretty much done. I need to test it, however. Also, the 2 Solitude guards I fixed last round, in my game at least, are always stick at the editor location, instead of patrolling as they should, so I attempted a fix for that, we'll see if that works or not. Will report back in a bit.
Guest ffabris Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 OK, uploaded the new version of 2.2 - ESP only. 2.2 (2016-09-12) Uploaded a version for USLEEP users (SkyHunks_2.2_USLEEP.rar). Requires USLEEP. Install on top of one of the regular versions of 2.2, as only the ESP is included in the download. This doesn't fix those 2 guards btw ... not sure what's up with them. :-|
Mushano Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Everything looks good. Time to play Skyrim some more. I'm not sure where those 2 guards you mentioned are, but I'm sure it'll be worked out in time. Thanks for the speedy update, ffabris!
Guest ffabris Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 My pleasure! Now my OCD is all about those 2 guards.... [grumble]
Mylor41 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Well, maybe I'll wait until you get those guards moving as they should. I use USLEEP (per your recommendation) and I don't have any issues with it and SkyHunks, which you know I'll use as long as it's available. I've been busy transferring your Cocksmen to my standard NPCs. I'm really liking the results.
Guest ffabris Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Well, maybe I'll wait until you get those guards moving as they should. I think it is a game issue. I check in TES5Edit with my full load, and nothing is touching their behavior outside of the vanilla game. So, not much I can do. They stay as they are. I use USLEEP (per your recommendation) and I don't have any issues with it and SkyHunks, which you know I'll use as long as it's available. Crag Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 I'm usually a stickler when it comes to the "lore" look. But frankly, using Bathing Beefcake Bathhouse, most of the other men in Skyrim look like shit. My other issue is that I also use Interesting NPC's (which adds quite a few NPC's with quests, backstories and such). But I just found an overall of the men and women in iNPC - which matches the look of this mod. So here I go. My only question, which I suppose I'll find out for myself - any conflict with iNPC? Also does this cover the DLC's too?
Guest ffabris Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 My only question, which I suppose I'll find out for myself - any conflict with iNPC? I honestly don't know as I don't use that mod. All mine does, essentially, is change NPC faces. So in theory, it should work. Also does this cover the DLC's too? Yes. Full list of currently modified NPCs is on the DL page.
Crag Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 humm.. I'm getting an error in Loot. I have ApachiSkyHairMale 1.2 (the latest) installed but Loot reported that Skyhunks doesn't see it? is there another version I should be using?
Crag Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 nvm. NMM bullshit again. I'll install it manually.
Mylor41 Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 I gave up the lore-friendly look and went for the gay-friendly look when I started modding Skyrim. I ffabris' hunks and now I use the NPC Visual Transfer Tool to bring the looks from some of his hunks from his other mods (houses, men's club) and give them to regular NPCs, especially the trainers for use with SLEN.
Crag Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Are most of the men you edited dark? Not black, but brown?
Guest ffabris Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Are most of the men you edited dark? Not black, but brown? Yep. I think working outdoors all the time (as most of the NPCs) do, should result in a tan.
Crag Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 ok jsut wanted to make sure my rig wasn't hosed.
Crag Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 I suppose there's no easy way to change some of them to a lighter skin? I tried using the CK.. but I suppose it's the wrong tool? Do I use the NPC Editor? Or would you prefer I not edit it? I use lighting mods.. and man. And my lovers (out of the many I choose 5) I have to use magelight to see anything. Oh and by the way, in case anyone asks again: the mod works fine with Interesting NPC's and related mods.
