how do i get them to load? i've installed a few in data\skse\plugins\chargen\presets but when i start a new game, go to presets and try to load they never come up. always says failed to load preset to slot 0-50 because i try them all. what's going on? what am i missing?

 

an example would be this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64277/?

 

compared to this one by the same author. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62967/?

 

the second one comes up with no problem. i have yet to get the top one (or any JSLOT file) to load for some reason. any ideas?

If you aren't using RaceMenu version 3.something or higher then the JSLOT files won't work. Older versions of RaceMenu didn't use JSLOT format. And older presets won't work with the newer versions of RM either.

Make sure you don't have standalone versions of the "CharGen Extensions" and "NiOverride" mods installed. Remove both of those and reinstall the latest RaceMenu, as that comes with those already.

 

Latest SKSE and latest RaceMenu should work. NMM or MO doesn't matter as long as you install the mods properly.

They're both SKSE plugins, so they don't have an .esp plugin in the load order (we can't tell from this). If you don't know them, then you most likely didn't install them.

so any ideas as to what is causing these JSLOT files to not load? i've been able to successfully load several racemenu presets but anything labeled JSLOT doesn't work for me. i'd really like to figure this out. :(
