Mr.Friendly Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Hello I tried finding a thread about enb, but couldn't locate one. Anyway. I decided to try enb, to see if my pc could handle it. Sadly I seem to have been mistaken. I have a msi gtx 970, i7 4790K, 16 gb ram, asus 797-a. Is it impossible to get a decent enb to run with that and no lag? Because I followed step (http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB) instructions and all I got was a bad looking enb that mostly staid on 10-5 fps with an occasional lift to 30. Also I ran skyrim on ultra would it help to lower that setting? never tried before I uninstalled everything. I would like to at least be able to run with 30 fps, but would prefer 60. The enb I tried was http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56020/? added: Crackles! Saw now that I accidentally posted in the wrong thread. is there noway for me to move it to tec or delete it?
GrimReaper Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 See if your enb has the frame limiter enabled.
Mr.Friendly Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 See if your enb has the frame limiter enabled.Does that help alot? Either way. I have already replaced it with sweetfx. I think the biggest problem is that I run skyrim on a 4k tv. And the grafikcard can't handle that with enb and all my textures. Now I go between 40-70 fps. Will try to do some fixes to get it up to 60 and sett it to a 60 limit with msi afterburner. However thanks for your replie. May try enb again when I upgrade my grafikcard again. (But then I will probably have moved on to Fallout 4)

Have you disabled antialiasing, anisotropic filtering, and FXAA in the options section of the launcher? Have you set the settings for them and ambient occlusion to application controlled in the Nvidia driver?

Did that after first try and it got a little bit better, but still not playable. The other once I missed though. So Thanks will try those next time.
...0... Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Your system should run it with decent fps. But not on a 4k TV.
