Can't type anything but "i"

I just upgraded my laptop to Windows 10. 

I logged in, checked everything, browsed around a little bit and everything worked perfectly. 

 

An hour later I opened my laptop again, only to find out I cannot log in. Why? Because I can't enter my password, pressing letters does nothing! The only letter that responds is "i". I assumed the keys broke so I decided to use my onscreen keyboard (my laptop has a touch screen). But guess what, SAME PROBLEM. None of the ONSCREEN letters work except "i".  How in the flying hell is that even possible?

 

I tried looking for a possible fix on google but couldn't find a thing. I'm at a loss since I never had such a ridiculous problem before, can anyone help me out?

sounds like a driver install error, shit like this used to happen to usb keyboards back in the day. and i'm thinking you likely do not have a backup stored on a disk. So my choice would be to reformat and stay away from win 10 untill you get to the bottom of why it happened and how to aviod that from happening again.

 

edit you also should seek proadvice on pc tech support forums as well idiots like me are far more likely to cause you more frustration then to actually help by providing a solution.

Yap what he said. Windows 7 is what everyone should use.

 

Windows 8 sucks and windows 10 is a clusterfuck of a mess.

Same thing happened to me.  You need to restart.  MS just installed an update, at least that was what happened to me.  Worked fine after the restart.

Try to plug in and usb keyboard, might resolve, but man, stay away from W10 during the next months, let MS resolve the problems, otherwise you will be its "beta" tester.
