vram1974 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I know that looking at people's mod lists is boring and useless BUT if anyone feels bored and wants to take a crack at it... Taskmaster Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I'm gonna tread lightly, because I don't really know what you want from your game, because a large portion of those plugins I'd do without, personally. But straight up though, I'd suggest the removal of the following: Dead Body Collision Enhanced Blood Textures Lanterns of Skyrim And then, I'd use this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9553/? The "Lite" version, in place of Realistic Humanoid Speed. With the above mod, you can tweak the speeds of everything(well, most movement options, I mean) and create an .esp. Secondly, I seriously recommend Skytweak: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33395/? Skytweak will probably help you cut down on many of those mods in your load order, as it should have features some of those mods have in a single esp with customizable settings. Lastly, I recommend Wyre Bash and create a Bashed Patch. In the bashed patch, you can tweak some settings, and it will also bash in some of those esps and give you some breathing room.
Arken Red Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Could probably remove the High Rez dlc, and grab the Skyrim HD 2k textures
Killing Joke Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Agreed for Skytweak, this mod should be part of everyone's load order just like unofficial patches. Same for bashed patch. I also see several armors and followers mods that could be merged together.
Rayblue Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Try to merge the clothing mods, the hair mods, and the weapon mods -- they're the easiest to do.
vram1974 Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 Thanks to all who replied, I really appreciate it! By all means, I'd love to hear what other plugins you'd get rid of, you don't need to tread lightly I wouldn't be offended I'm just curious about Dead Body Collision, don't you like the realism of not being able to move through the bodies? Thanks for the suggestions on those other mods I will definitely give them a try. As for Wrye Bash, I do use that program but when I started using Lootification I wasn't sure whether to use the TES5Edit Merged Patch or the Bashed Patch along with the Skyproc so I left it out. I contacted the Gamerpoets but they weren't sure about Lootification. Cheers
Killing Joke Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I use lootification myself, the right way to do it is to create your bashed patch, then your merged patch from which you'll remove leveled items and leveled npcs trees from it before saving it. Done, you can run lootification's patcher.

I contacted the Gamerpoets but they weren't sure about Lootification. Cheers No problem, it's just a precaution I feel I have to favor here more often than not. Dead Body Collision, it caused problems in my game, it's also incompatible with Sex Lab(fyi). Dead Body Collision Enhanced Blood Textures Lanterns of Skyrim Face Light Realistic Humanoid Speed *Proper Aiming Enhanced Better Sorting **Crime Decay Barenziah Quest Markers Auto Recharge Weapons NPC Smarter Water AI *100x Carry Weight Dungeon Quest Awareness *Deadly Stronger Poisons ***Jaxonz Map Markers Torch Radius **ABT Arrowsstick.esp Rebirthmonster.esp I'd remove all of those regardless of my game. You also have a ton of script mods going, how does your game run all of this? All of these scripts fire? I feel as if you're probably selling your mods short, with some not giving you the most it could give. *I know SkyTweak can do what they do, and to your personal setting. **Bashed Patch has crime options in it, as well as some arrow speed settings. Arrows sticking and how long, I think can be made in an .ini tweak. ***Jaxonz Utilities has the Map Markers mod, as well as some other potentially helpful mods that you can turn off their MCM for - so it's extras. However, if you wouldn't be using any of the other things like Positioner, then nevermind here. Personally, I don't use SPERG, I run Perkus Maximus. If you ran PerMa there'd be more things I'd suggest the removal of. I also use SkyAI with Duke Patrick's Preset, which handles my combat AI needs(but it's script heavy, so I run a lighter script load in general). You have to ask yourself; how many of these mods on the list do I(not me, you) actually use? Or are they just sitting in my load order until I reach them "someday" in a playthrough.

Great, I got rid of arrowstick, poisons, torch radius, carry weight, water AI, humanoid speed, blood textures, lanterns, better sorting (9 free spaces!) I'm a big fan of Facelight though I looked in the Bashed Patch for crime options but none of them allow for the gradual reduction of your bounty as long as you're not in a hold. SkyTweak is really helpful, thanks for cluing me in to that. I was going to use Perkus Maximus when I started my character 70 levels ago but I couldn't get the skyproc to work so I went with SPERG. Maybe next playthrough. Or maybe Requiem
