CNKTHoward Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Hello, I'm currently using sevenbase, usually with a weight slider of about 50 - I personally don't like the higher weight on this body mod. My problem is though, that I want to use some outfits without wearing the actually "armor" part (like a bra or something). This results, in the body being at weigh 50, but the worn parts of the armor are still at 100, resulting in a lot of ugly clipping. I tried using racemenu to lower the breast and calves size only. But editing the former results in a lot of deformed vertices - it looks really f***ed up. My idea was using an armor or cloth upper part, that has 0-100 weight slider support, but is actually invisible. SexLab f.e. uses a nude suit - but it's UNP and I couldn't find a sevenbase version of it. I tried using the femalebody_0 and femalebody_1 and renaming it to femalenudesuit_0 and _1 accordingly, but when wearing the suit, the body still is at 100 all the time either way. Any ideas?
CNKTHoward Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 I have only very limited experience with nifscope... I was looking for an "easier" way.
Kendo 2 Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 No easy way to rename Dismemberment slots without nifscope. In fact nifscope is the easy way because otherwise it is Blender or 3DMax.
CNKTHoward Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 So I guess there isn't a how-to or at least some directions on how to do that? I find it kinda odd that there isn't already a sevenbase nude suit around somewhere...
Kendo 2 Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 It is like adding any armor or clothing to Skyrim. Any turtorial that covers it will work. The 'thing' to get a bodysuit working as armor is how it is set up in nifscope and the CK. That is why simply swapping meshes you want with an existing bodysuit didn't work.
CNKTHoward Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 Can't I just replace the existing's nodes in nifscope with the ones from sevenbase?
Kendo 2 Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 No, you'll have to make the body parts sub-branch in the Partions of the BSDismemberSkinInstance branch match the target outfit in the CK. If you just copy and paste the TriShape from one nif to another, all of the child branches will be copied too, and they will hold the old information from the orginal nif. There is no easy way to do it.
BringtheNoise Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 A more interesting question is what outfit or outfit parts are you looking to have your character wear. And do they have a proper 0 and 1 7B setup? Even if you were to get the nude suit to work, you will still be better off with outfits that have a proper high and low setup. Now if you are just looking to wear a bra and panty set when naked then get the never nude version of sevenbase/7b. But then you'ld be back to needing the SL body replacer to put on a 7B body when a sex scene is kicked off... By the way, what slot does SL set the replacer too? slot 32 or something else?
Asrienda Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 The best way to do it without much work is to find a 7B outfit that has an actual _0 and _1 model (not just two _1 models with one named _0)... which you can ensure by getting a 7B outfit that works with UUNP Bodyslide and make it exactly like you want. After you bodyslide it, open them in nifskope and delete the armor portions.

Basically it's about "Merta Assassin Armor" . I want to wear all the parts but the shoulder and armor parts. The outfit does have proper 0 and 100 weights. But based on @Asrlenda's answer, shouldn't it be possible to take the armor, open it up in nifskope and delete the armor? This required tho, that the body mesh is complete and not "optimized".
BringtheNoise Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Which version of the Merta Assassin? The CBBE one, the UNP perky (the original version based off of tiwa44's meshes), the 7b conversion on nexus (that may or may not have a proper 0 and 1 setup), the demonfet version that Zqaud1 has done, the UUNP Bodyslide one (or has it not been released yet). If you just need a naked sevenbase body then get the one from Sevenity's thread on nexus. If you want a tweaked sevenbase body then get the one Stevierage has in the HDT section of LL (sevenbase plus vagina). If you want to pick and choose from the many different versions of sevenbase (a cup, bombshell, cleavage, natural, oppai, 7b CH, un7b, 7bunp, seraphim, demonfet, and others).... then get bodyslide and install the Unified UNP package. Something to note: A sevenbase body inside an outfit may or may not have a standard shape. Some bodies that are place inside an outfit may have sections of the body deleted (to keep from clipping into the outfit), or have some of the body depressed to keep it from clipping thru the outfit. A decent amount of tight fitting sevenbase sets will have the nipple flattened so that it does not stick thru the torso... just saying. But yes if you want to take an outfit that has the body in it, and delete the outfit in nifscope (with the merta torso its only 2 meshes, the body and the shirt). Then go for it....
Asrienda Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Id suggest using that milking cuirass armor thing with uunp.

I'm using the UNP (original) with the 7b conversion on top. I tried deleting the armor meshes of the armor part, but as you hinted the results were not as expected. The breast area is different and doesn't look good without weight on 100 (there are some vertices being misplaced). What do I do with the sevenbase body mods? Renaming the femalebody files to the armor doesn't work as described earlier in this thread.
Kendo 2 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 You're taking oranges and throwing them into barrel and expecting them to magically become apples. Unless you've opened the nifs you're using in Blender or 3DMax you have no idea what the real Bone Weights are. If you're not looking at the XYZ axis Translation and Rotation of the skeleton NiNodes in Nifscope you have no idea if they match or not. Just because both nifs have Right and Left Clavicle or Spine and Spine1 bones doesn't mean they are in the same positions on the XYZ axis. Those things are major contributors to clipping, as much so as body meshes not being the same shape. There's that, and the BSDismemberSkinInstances to deal with in Nifscope and the CK. And if you really want to add to your work load attempt to use something changed with BodySlide or OutfitStudio. There is a right and wrong way to do things and right now you're looking for the easy way and you're spinning your wheels, because there isn't an easy way to do what you're wanting. This tutorial. Parts 1, 5 and 6.
