[Sims 4] Nude Massage, Steamroom, and Mudbath/Soaks Mod - Updated for game version 1.29.69.1020 April 13, 2017

Since Etherion over at SexySims hasn't updated his nude Spa Day objects mods yet, I went ahead and updated my mods for the toddlers patch.  It turns out I just had to add some lines, and voila, the files work! I'll be reuploading this to SexySims as well.

 

This is a simple XML edit that removes the towel that sims use when getting a massage or relaxing in the steam room. It also makes sims strip down for mudbaths and soaks instead of changing into swimwear. (Swimwear for a bath, EA? Really?)

Requires: TS4 Base Game and the Spa Day Game Pack, patched to 1.29.69.1020

 

Edited: Updated this mod for the April 13 patch

 

Installation Instructions:

Unzip and drop the package files into your mods folder. Your mods folder is usually located at C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods, where UserName is your Windows login.

Uninstallation:

Delete the mod.

Conflicts:

This mod changes the following XML files and will thus conflict with any mod that uses the same resources:

S4_AD6FDF1F_00000006_000000000001D63E.xml

Final Words:

This is a quick and dirty edit to be used as a stop-gap until some more experienced modder finds a better way to get sims nekkid for massages and such. I'm not really a modder, just a mod user who tinkers around with game files. My hat goes off to all of the real modders who share their creativity and mad coding skillz with the rest of us.

 

Edit:2/2/2017: I checked the XML files and no update is needed for the February 2 patch.

Did you put the mod in your overrides folder and do you have a properly set up resource.cfg file?

 

You may also have a mod conflict. Other than those two things, I can't think of anything else that would make this not work.

whats a overides folder? I just put it into the mods folder?

Just to make sure, you did notice the last message was a plea for an update 3/4 year ago did you?

The mod is horribly out of date and no mod I know of (for the current version) still uses the override folder.

 

For naked steamroom + massages + teen wohoo and many many MANY things more you could use MC Command and its naugthy part.

His was a users question what an overrides folder is, not a message of "I'll update that!".

If you want that mod updated you'll have to do it yourself. But as I mentioned earlier it is unnecessary as a bigger and better mod already does that.

I am quite shocked someone can actually feel fully immersed in a Sims Game in the first place, more so in Sims 4 

A game where the hourly payrate even at the lowest income is on par with a manager in real life.

A game where the life expectancy is counted in days.

A game where life is categorized in 3 'life stages' and where babies 'age up' straight to elementary pupils.

 

There are many many things in the game itself which prevents immersion, I wouldn't care about an additional options panel.

There is an upcoming update patch releasing tomorrow. Might want to look out for that one.

With the nude sauna mod, can sims relax in the sauna nude or is it only a nude for sauna woohoo?

You can disable the in-game menus.

I didn't know that was an option with MCCC either. If you're using MCCC, then I would say you don't need this mod.

 

I'll leave this here as an option for those who don't use MCCC (like me), but I may take this down later on if most people end up not needing it. Originally, the purpose of this mod was to act as a stop-gap until someone could find a better way to accomplish the same thing.

So you have 2 Nude Sauna options in MC Woohoo?  I have the following options available Nude Woohoo, Nude Hot Tub Woohoo, Nude Sauna Woohoo, Nude Spa (which covers only mudbath and massage), Nude Yoga, Nude Workout.  Nude Sauna Woohoo won't make them naked when just relaxing in the sauna, it only makes them naked when woohoo'ing in the sauna.
