steelpanther24 Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 The first "album" I bought was Bon Jovi But the first "album" I owned was Van Halen (gift). I got most of my music (at that time) from my brothers collection because he didn't have a record player (in his room, I think) at college. 1

It was "welded" into my car stereo, until I finally wore it out (got all warpy and distorted). Then instantly bought another to replace it. Edited April 7, 2022 by Fiend71

Fiend71 Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 (edited) Robert Johnson was around for a short time in the 30s. Pretty sure he recorded his voice into a tin can... He recorded a number of tracks, then died young. In the 30s... Many, many artists have done/sang/and even used his music in their own recordings. Notably, Led Zeppelin was actually in a court battle with his estate, for clear and obvious use of his voice. The Eagles though, Rolling Stones, etc... Legend has it that he actually made a deal with the devil to know how to play that well. In the 19-f'ing-30s! Edited April 7, 2022 by Fiend71 1
