Why is sevenbase body showing lower textures than other body types?

Take a look at these two screenshots, one is a UNP texture compatible with 7base and the other for CBBE. They are both using the same high resolution texture but the differences are huge. It's a shame because I like the 7base mesh for having higher polys and extra HDT physics, are there any ways I can fix this issue? Why is this happening in the first place? Any help would be gladly appreciated.

That is because you need to go back to where you downloaded that body from and reread what textures you need and what you need to do to get it all to appear correctly. That body is one of those HDT vagina ones which need special texture files that have different textures for the crotch area and they need to be installed a certain way to get them to appear correctly. Also reading the posts will probably also have many people asking this same thing and how to fix it and they were probably shown/told how to do it.

That's because the story that CBBE has bad textures is a myth. There are a lot of non-CBBE users that go running around like chickens with their heads cut off claiming that such-and-such a body has better textures then CBBE, but the truth is that if you look for them, CBBE has just as good skin textures or better then the other body types you can find.

 

As for fixing your problem, myuhinny has it right. Find the original page/mod and look at their advice or the comments from other users.

Thanks for the reply myuhinny, unfortunately this is an issue with both the sevenbase body and the HDT vagina version. You probably saw the missing vagina texture on the HDT vagina version and quickly made an assumption I didn't read the instructions to add it in.That is NOT the case here. (I was just too lazy to edit it in) I'm talking about the texture quality overall being blurred out on the sevenbase/HDT body mesh even when using the same artwork introduced on the CBBE body. The texture in the screenshot was an UNP version and 100% compatible with the sevenbase body. I'll show the non-HDT sevenbase screenshots below and you'll see the same thing.

 

I suspect this issue has went unnoticed due to many of us using "SG texture renewal" which gives out a much more blend out texture opposed to a more detailed complexion texture. I've tested this with at least 4 different textures and I get the same result on all of them including mature skins. Textures on CBBE still comes out at the top.
