An idea - Tryouts Extended

So recently I went back to work on my mod (FiendsCamp) unfortuently I soon hit a brick wall and instead of frustrating myself I decided to start a new mod to take my mind off of it while I relax. Thus Tryouts Extended was born.

 

The basic premise of this mod is that I love the tryouts mod and want to add to it, there are so many factions in NV and to cover them all would be a massive undertaking.

 

So far I have plans for BoS, Ghouls, Gomorrah, White Glove Society and Old Lady Gibson.

 

I realise this is a pointless post for now but I will update it tomorrow with more details. For now I'd appreciate any ideas and feedback of the general concept, oh and if Loogie reads this, is it ok?

Cool. If you're expanding it, how about having certain factions offer you caps or chems when you refuse them. It could be based on who they are, like the legion would just rape you, and so would other evil factions. but maybe a group like the khans or kings would offer some jet or something. And the the whitegloves might offer caps or chips.

 

Just a thought. Not sure if theres already any mods like that.

It sure is okay. BoS and Old Lady Gibson isn't something Tryouts planned on touching.

 

Would like to know what your plan concerning ghouls, Gomorrah and the Ultra-Lux are, though. The Bright Brotherhood and Gomorrah are already in Working Girl, and I have plans for the Ultra-Luxe. Don't mind you adding stuff to them, but I want to make sure you aren't causing incompatibilities or reinventing the wheel.

I have also been trying to come up with some dialogs and scenes for Brotherhood of Steel.

 

Not that I have succeeded, I have a few notional ideas, but nothing great.

Not to mention RFCW. Either of you planning on integrating that?

 

In theory it's a good idea, but with Fallout 3's complete lack of story it would be hard to accomplish.

Don't mind Loogie. He's just a sourpuss over Bethesda ruining a series close to his heart. Setting up prostitution in populated areas wouldn't be much trouble. But the lack the large factions makes the existing Tryout template pointless. A generalized tryout system is probably all that would be required.

But considering that the RFCW team plans to merge Fallout3.esm into FalloutNV.esm, anything you make now is likely to be useless down the line. It'll be completely incompatible.

 

However, more Tryout stuff in NV would be great. As nice as the Hookups plugin is, specialized dialog/encounters are the best.

Yeah, I'm going to have to say that a generalized, one-shot RCFW plugin is probably the route to go anyway.

 

Though in that case, Well, as John Henry Eden says, "Let's take a tally of these agitators, shall we?"

 

First and foremost (and most obvious) Is paradise falls. Having some slaves on hand for you to rape/free (similar to the Legion plugin) is perhaps the most obvious course of action.

 

Same thing goes for the Lincoln Memorial ones. After all, they'd probably want some way to... relieve themselves somehow and they don't exactly seem the type to wanna go to Underworld for it.

 

Then there's the Raiders. It's not unfathomable that they'd have sex slaves on hand that you could either free or make personal use of (or both, though not necessarily in that order). In fact, this was the idea behind the "rape victims" in FOOK (which, by the way, was my idea when I was still working on FOOK, though that was a LONG time ago.)

 

If you don't wanna copy fook's raider rape victim placements verbatum though, I'd say the best places to put them are:

 

  • Evergreen Mills (they already have a bordello there. It's not unfathomable that they'd have a few... less willing whores for it for those with more... savage tastes.)
  • Springvale School (besides "instant gratification" for fresh characters, it's also got quite a few cages in order to keep them in, And according the terminal there they are keen on using slaves too.)
  • Super-Duper Mart (Again, "instant gratification", plus It's not unfathomable at all to think that they might have "snatched up" a few good-looking grayditch refugees for their own personal use. In FOOK I put them in the bathroom stalls (as a makeshift prison) but the back rooms could also be a good place.
  • The Raid Shack. Could be former residents.
  • That small area outside dukov's place and/or next to the citidel.
  • Basically, anyplace that has a strong presence of raiders is a likely candidate. And considering that there's a fuckton of raider outposts in the game, there's a lot of choice to choose from. I'll update this list though if I find any more particularly good ones.

 

Then there's talon company. While somewhat less sadistic than the raiders, A whore/slave in at least a few of their strongholds (in particular fort bannister) is not beyond the realm of believably. Call it a perk/employment benefit.

 

The other ones aren't very likely to keep slaves though. Brotherhood is extremely unlikely considering both their disposition and views on breeding with outsiders. Outcasts are even less likely too, not so much for the former reason but definitely more for the later. While the enclave is certainly evil enough, it's highly unlikely that they'd want let alone actively promote the idea of their soldiers randomly wetting their dicks on dirty, radiation-filled outsider pussy. Super mutants do keep hostages/slaves, but for entirely different reasons (eatting/turning others into mutants.) It's unlikely due to FEV and their stupidity that they even consider having sex slaves.

 

There's also DLC factions but we'll come back to them in a bit.

 

That aside, there's also the issue of prostitutes and individual non-slave/non-rape encounters. In Megaton Nova is the obvious one.

 

Perhaps some tryout option for Silver too if you help her in her favor.

 

For Bigtown either have red, Kimba, and/or Bittercup and/or some new character if none of them seem to fit the bill for prostitution options (after all, they gotta make money to stay alive SOMEHOW ;) )

 

Rivet City will need a new prostitute. Or perhaps cherry starts freelancing after you free her from Dukov.

 

Same with Tenpenny tower, though I'm guessing a more refined one than the others. (After all, if there can be a tryout for Ultraluxe, there can be one for Tenpenny tower.)

 

Canterberry commons could also use a new one methinks.

 

Vault 101: Some option for a "goodbye sex" with Amata or one of the other girls perhaps? They are, after all, rather low on people and could use moar kids. :)

 

Not sure about any others though for the vanilla plugin one, so addon to this if you guys have more ideas.

 

 

Though that then takes me to the Fallout 3 DLCs:

 

- Operation Anchorage: Nope. Can't think of anything, since 1. It's a wartime cod-like computer sim (I doubt there'd be hookers in the US base, let alone that the programmers of the sim would program something like that in.) and as I said before the idea of outcasts having slaves/whores is also very unlikely. About the only option I could think of is an option with Olin after all's said and done, but that's it. And even that's pushing the lore a bit.

 

- The Pitt: Hmmm tough one actually. While I could technically see the pitt raiders taking a few of the "prettier/more handsome" slaves for their own personal playthings/sexual punching bags or even the raiders just raping a few of said slaves whenever they feel like it, I somehow get the funny feeling that Lord Ashur really wants to discourage that kind of behavior towards the sla- er, workers. Add to that the whole Troyg mess and... well. I dunno. I'd leave that one for you guys to judge.

 

- Broken Steel: I can't really give an opinion on this one since this is the ONE DLC which I've never played all the way through. However, since it's dealing primarily with both the brotherhood and the enclave, and since there's very little outside content added in other than a few enemies and such... I'd have to guess that it offers very little tryout opportunities.

 

- Point Lookout: Just like with the raiders, I find it completely plausible that the swampfolk would keep a sex slave or two in various holdouts, though motivation-wise I'd say their reasons would be more for breeding stock and religious rituals than for sexual depravity. I mean, yes it's SAID that they're the result of inbreding (and some radiation, but more the former than the later) but... seriously, when have you EVER seen any hint of a female swampfolk? And besides, if anyone's ever seen Wasteland Survival Guide 4 on youtube, it really seems to lend a lot of credence to this.

Though as for the Tribals. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... I'd have to say it's quite unlikely that they'd have sex slaves/prositutes. Though perhaps some sort of sexual orgy ritual every once and a while? And if you refuse to partake in it they... well... get a little "insistive" ;)

 

I dunno about the smugglers. They seem the sort to take/use sex slaves , but they don't seem to have any centralized bases so I don't know where you'd put any.

 

- Mothershitp Zeta: I find it completely unlikely that the aliens would want to engage in any sort of sexual intercourse with their captives. HOWEVER, I would definately NOT put them above doing any sort of perverted "experiments" on people. Such as:

  • Sex Machines/robots making hapless females cum constantly
  • interbreeding experiments between humans and other animals
  • Interbreeding compatiblity between humans and Abominations
  • Sexuallity stimulation/mind control experiments
  • ...etc.

Another idea I had is at the end of it you get your own sex "slave": a guy/girl who's mind has been severely altered and has been pumped up with so many aphrodisiacs that he's basically more or less your personal slut. Dunno if the TSC would allow that though ;)

Just wanted to point out a nice little tidbit about whether or not a military simulation program would include sex/prostitutes. During WW1 the US Army lost the use of approximately 18000 soldiers each day to venereal disease. With medical and policy improvements, during WW2 this was around 600 each day. This is a major medical concern to modern armies as well. The vast majority of casualties during any conflict are environmental... venereal disease, cold injuries, heat injuries, trenchfoot, animal/bug bites, disease, accidental injuries and vehicular accidents. If any military decided to simulate a conflict, they would be remiss not to include all of the above as possibilities. Actual combat injuries are a small minority compared to these.
