DorkDiva Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I just want to see if they kill off Glenn like they did in the comic, That is the only thing that keeps me curious. Otherwise I could care less now. It got boring and...I seem to like the Strain much more anyhow.
Kain82 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I like new SOB Rick. He has always been my favorite character. I like how he has evolved or devolved into a Shane/Governor clone.
...0... Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 I'm re-watching whole series again and i think it's still one best very much enjoy it again.
...0... Guest toymachine Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 I can't tell if it was done purposely or not but I was very annoyed with the black and white with only certain parts that were colored scenes tonight... I hope it was some tech problems or just bad filming and not some stupid trend thing they are planning to do.
Sarathis Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 I can't tell if it was done purposely or not but I was very annoyed with the black and white with only certain parts that were colored scenes tonight... I hope it was some tech problems or just bad filming and not some stupid trend thing they are planning to do. Nicotero said in the Talking Dead interview last night that it was just a gimmick they used to differentiate the flashbacks from the present storyline. If they do use it again I doubt it'll be soon. I've loved The Walking Dead for a long time. You can't find a better show for character development on TV. Even still, after five seasons I'm starting to wonder if it's going anywhere. I love the characters and I love the plotlines they've developed up until now but the show is starting to feel as though it's getting into a repetitive cycle of bad crap happening, losing some people, coping, regaining a little hope, more bad crap happens, etc... TWD is a show about survival and human nature, I get that. But for me personally there has to be more. The first season did a good job of providing that... with the storyline involving the CDC. You were finding out a lot about the nature of the plague, where it came from, and how it effected people. It gave the show a sense of forward movement and I'm still curious about that tease they mentioned about how the French thought they were close to a breakthrough before they lost contact. Since then, however, it's just been find a safe place to put down roots, argue amongst themselves once they get comfortable, bad guy shows up to piss in their cornflakes, people die, move on to find a new place. The circumstances are very different each time but the underlying formula is the same. I have EVERY INTENTION of watching through this whole season. It's still one of, if not THE best show on TV. I just hope they give us more to look forward to than "who's going to survive this new crisis?" soon. And Daryl needs to get a new poncho.
...0... Posted October 12, 2015 Author Posted October 12, 2015 Yeh you hit nail there Sarathis formula is kind same every season. Still like the show very much. I'm bit dissapointed with role morgan played, thought he would be more dominant role not a kind errant boy for rick and do what he say. But maybe thats change? Had no real trouble with black and white it was just flashbacks show what was before and present. This first episode was not as good as season 5 first episode which was alot better. I rate it as 8/10 Still enjoyed it.
Guest toymachine Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 The black and white flashback I know about. I just think it was pretty annoying most of the episode was focused on it and at the same time I think they could of done a bit better job on the flashbacks. As far as Morgan. It's good to see him again. Though, I thought he would of been taking a more of a stronger role, but it's only the first episode so I'm thinking he will grow a stronger personality as time passes. Like keep Rick in line.

( I know it was for flashback of course) But somehow I feel that TWD is going to follow the comic a little ( not entirely ) but for main events and it won't involve the same characters. I'm curious about it too about : spoiler from comic I wonder too if glen will die and about if carl will loose his eye
...0... Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 Wow just wow season six episode 2 one best ever ive seen so far 10/10 Carol is awesome !!!!
Sarathis Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Wow just wow season six episode 2 one best ever ive seen so far 10/10 Carol is awesome !!!! See, this is where I usually end up completely disagreeing with most zombie-slasher movie fans when it comes to The Walking Dead. Most of the people I've spoken with who are horror fans felt this was one of the best episodes ever. To me, though, it was one of the weakest and dragged on far beyond where its point was already made. To me only three or four things of any importance happened this week: 1. The Wolves finally attacked Alexandria. You knew it was going to happen just not how or when. Also we found out that Aaron contributed to their attack by dropping his pack with all the pictures. Stupid of him to bring them with him outside. 2. Carol was forced to blow her cover as Donna Reed, perfect home maker. Also knew it was going to happen eventually and she was the star of the episode, as always. 3. Morgan made some hard decisions regarding his new philosophy. You could tell from the promos for Season 6 that his attitude is going to be a major bone of contention between him and Rick's group, so whether or not he killed the Wolf in the end is a big question. 4. We learned about Enid's past a bit and she left Alexandria. This was arguably the most important part of the episode since she's likely to appear again later on and how she does so will have major repercussions for Carl and other young people left behind. 5. Jessie killed a Wolf with a pair of scissors and her shitheel son saw her do it. I guess that was important but I find the whole Anderson family slightly annoying, so I didn't really care. So far Jessie's just a plot device to show us how much Rick has become like Shane. She might become important later on, I don't know. 6? Alexandria has a new doctor... Kinda. 7? Carl's maturity and calmness is fantastic. Didn't blink an eye at people dying outside his doorstep or Enid leaving, just took dinner out of the oven. Honestly, that was it and you could have summed all that up in about 10 minutes out of the 42. The rest was just the Wolves killing Alexandria citizens horribly to show you how insane they are and Carol being a bad ass. Oh, and Gabriel feels bad and wants to help out. Keep in mind I don't read the comic so I have no idea what's coming up and don't care to. Being surprised is one of the best parts of watching TWD. I watch The Walking Dead for the drama and the character development. Watching how different human beings from all walks of life deal with earth changing tragedy and having to find a way to survive from day to day is what makes this show amazing, much in the way that Battlestar Galactica did. This episode was just wanton killing with little else to show for it but a set up for future episodes. One could argue that drawing it out makes the viewer feel the horror more deeply alongside the characters but honestly I've kinda been there and done that in this series already. Sorry to disagree and I know I'm probably in the minority but that's what's great about this series. There's something in it for every type of fan. This week just wasn't my cup of tea. Carol is fucking awesome, though.
Guest endgameaddiction Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Season 6 isn't looking promising to me so far. I hope it starts to get better.
...0... Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 Majority of zombie fans and you tubers who mainly have channel only for TWD and i follow all thought this was amazing episode. I disagree with how they made Morgan bit unrealistic to safe every human being even if its horrible gruesome terrifying murder machine he still want to safe them all thats silly. I think he even dislike carol now. Carol was already one of my favorite but now she is up with daryl shows most favorite. I just hope michone gets better role in next episodes. Female killing machine Carol Love season six so far they understand what TWD fans want already saw it in last finale episode in Fear The walking dead which was also very good. But it all comes down to taste you eather like it or not. BSG was one worse ever series i saw i give that one 5/10 i quit after half season 3:P Many popular series which been adored by masses i dislike with passion hehe.
Guest endgameaddiction Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 That episode was intense. Finally started to really pick up. (warning: spoiler in spoiler. Don't read if you haven't seen the show yet.) I don't think Glen died. It shows zombies on top of him ripping out intestines on his upper part of the body. I doubt they would be ripping intestines from his chest. I think it's from the other dude and they just made it seems like it. I think we are led to believe he dies, but if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But I don't think Glen is dead, yet. If he is dead, that sucks. But eventually more important characters have to die.

Guest Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Can't wait what to see what will happen to RIck. Watched episode 3 yesterday and poor guy stuck in the RV and hundreds of zombie are coming toward him.
Jeffrey Lane Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 sadly tho, it looks like next episode mainly features Morgan story, not that i dont like him or anything.. but with teh Glenn thing and the walkers ontop of Rick's rv... so much waiting.
