Give NPC's outfits but not change their body type ?

I often try to give the NPCs in my game various outfits, but seems most outfits that I get from Nexus change the NPC's body type.  I'd like to give the NPC's the outfits I download from sites and not have their body types change. I have CBBE 3

Curvy installed and prefer the NPCs to have that body. I always get the CBBE version when offered a choice.

I suspect I might be able to do what I'd like using Body Slide/Outfit Studio but that would only affect the outfit for the player character yeah ?

If you want people to use the same body even when wearing armors then the armors have to be the same body type as the body type you are using. Because when you put a outfit/armor on the body inside the armor/outfit is used but the body uses the players textures.

 

If you change something in bodyslid/outfit studious it works for whoever wears it. You can also use Gerra6's clothing converter located in the modders resources section of LL to convert a armor/outfit from one body size to another one.
