Dr. Thang Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Well I'm totally out of ideas, so I'm hoping someone can give me some suggestions here. I haven't been able to find a decent tutorial or anything on this. What I want to do is make a new hair style, or more specifically, something even simpler than that, to combine two hair styles. I don't even need to do much customization, if I can just take these 2 hair styles and combine them into one, it will look great, but no matter what I do, it won't work. If I use nifskope to copy the hair mesh from one and paste it in the other, no matter what I do there, it will only appear as the first hair style. When I use blender it isn't much different. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the egm files, but I still don't know what those are and can't find much information on them. Does anybody have any idea what I can do? It doesn't seem like it should be so complicated.

Dr. Thang Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 Oh cool, thanks. I have a nexus account right now that my friend made for me, if it hasn't been banned yet, I'm not sure how they found my last one and banned it since all I used it for was messages but it did take them a while.

Another way to maybe get a message to him (if you're still willing to pursue this avenue) is to contact Xazomn and see if she can get a message to him via email. To the best of my knowledge the mod team Gloss House is still in tact and the three of us left things on good terms after I was banned. I WOULD do the leg work for you but I'm banned at Nexus and I never bothered with making a sock puppet account. I want nothing to do with Dark0ne or his shit stain site. Just out of curiosity I looked for hair tutorials. Plenty for making textures and none for making the models themselves. I guess that's why Skyrim modders don't make their own hairs and depend on rips from Sims or 3DPoser/Daz. The only other modder I know of that made hairs and is still active is Nuska. She did the Ethereal Elven Overhaul mod and has a resource pack with new hairs in it. Maybe she might be able to help you. Anyway, I'm fresh out of suggestions since searching both Google and Mozilla yielded nothing for mesh turorials. Best of luck.
