Dooge Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 The amount of spoken lines in the game is humongous. Many lines would fit right in SLSL. Downside is there would never be possibility to replace all needed lines with existing comments, and the end result would be mixture of spoken lines and subtitle lines. How does that make people feel? In reference to: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/47307-sexlife/
luffyboy Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Sexlab amorous adventure http://www.loverslab.com/topic/29971-sexlab-amorous-adventures-v203-20150524/did an extremely great job creating voiceblends for its mod. Perhaps you could ask for help getting the really essential lines made for you? Also speaking of voiceblends, since you enjoyed mxr videos so much check this video out if you havent, im sure you will enjoy the series
Dooge Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 Wow that is amazing! I think you are genius! If I get this right, one would mix and blend new lines from the old ones, record those as new spoken lines. That is really interesting thought and as far as I understand it should be completely doable. Only that it is a huge, huge job. Specially since all of the lines would have to be done for all voice types. Perhaps it could be done for some few common voice types and then one generic that is used if there was no match. As well as you said, maybe for just some of the most important spoken lines.
Dooge Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 I have no idea how to approach this... but I like it. Anyone aware of some modders resources that would already have the lip files indexed, search-able, easily listen-able and so fort, or must they be searched and handled just inside CK? Or of people who have done this, such as the author of Sexlab amorous adventures.
zzz72w3r Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 No for mixing subtitle with voiced lines in the same scene but Great if voiced lines is used strategically. Low budget RPG does this all the time but it's tricky to get the right mix. Doing it wrong is actually worse than not having voiced lines.

Alvor being the blacksmith means he spends most of his time on the smith outside his house while his wife wanders around town in the day. in the night they are in the house above
Dooge Posted June 29, 2015 Author Posted June 29, 2015 What if all comments were split just into male/female comments and voice acted with two generic type voices?
Zsar Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 No good. People changing their voice type is arguably worse than alternating between spoken and silent lines.
RDKateran Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 I'm totally okay with the mod being silent. People need to realize that it's really damn hard to get voice acting for mods. I miss the day when no voices were the norm, like in Morrowind. I do feel that the lines should be split between male and female characters, though. Kinda odd when a woman calls a guy a "handsome lass".
Dooge Posted June 29, 2015 Author Posted June 29, 2015 Heh. Yeah they are meant to be divided per gender but its not perfect yet
