Oversette Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I know my GPU is a bit on the humble side of things, but it'd be nice finally try ENB. Some of the presets I've tested run smooth most of the time, but stutter badly at the most crucial moments. So, has anyone found a playable ENB for the 6870 or similars? (I believe its rough equivalent is the GTX 560). I've already looked at several performance presets, but I think it'd be faster to just ask someone with a similar card. Thanks!

If you're using SSAO, disable indirect lighting, disable supersampling & set the source scales to 0.3. In terms of pixel-pushing horsepower, the 6870 is a model up from the 6850, which is as fast as an HD 7770. The 6950 is as fast as the 7850; the 6870 is slotted between 'em..
vram1974 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Far Off Nirn ENB is easy on your card and there's a lite version at the mod author's website (for donation). You can also use Sweet FX presets instead of ENB like ICBINE 3.
RedMonika Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Before getting a better card I did the same thing of going through ENBs and seeing what my computer could run. I found that the configuration files also did a lot with FPS. The files from Performance and realistic ENB are great depending on the graphic level your computer can run. I got some frames back using them. This preset is easy - PV-Performance ENB and this one too - Stakado Cinemascope ENB. Since these are on the 108 ENB binary they are are not taxing at all. You can use the 236 binary to use an enblocal file. Also, tweak with Imaginator.
