If I remember correctly this forum used to have a politics section. That was closed because political discussion tends to bring out the dick in even the most level-headed person. Then again I might remember wrong. We look at it from time to time when we're not sure about closing down such a thread and need to remind ourselves why we did that. Then comes the urgent need to wash. (And confess that we were slugging it out in there too. )
