Nexus uploading questions(texture & Assets Related)

Hey guys so i'd love to be able to make custom followers for everybody to enjoy along side some other ideas i have, but one thing is holding me back. Now this is mostly because i'd want everybody to be able to enjoy my mods but i am scared to upload some things to the nexus D:. 

I feel like i might get banned just for using the same name of something else(exaggerating of course)but it still worries me.

 

Ok so i use textures and mods that aren't on the nexus, for the most part.

Stuff like Milkdrinker and SG hairs, KS hairs etc...so how could i go about making followers that can be uploaded to the nexus that use these types of mods?.

Same goes for superstar textures. I want to turn serenity into a follower along with some others but it's hard for me to contact arrow and knee team, milkdrinker was removed from the nexus, along with sg and ks hairdos...so this is my dilemma since i use so many mods from outside of nexus sources i am simply scared that i might get banned for using assets or stuff related to those mods. And getting in contact with some of the authors of the mods i use is really damn hard.

I know loverslab is awesome for this stuff, which is why i uploaded my preset here first .

 

This is really the only thing holding me back from making mods, yeah i could make my own blog etc..but i want everybody to enjoy what i am going to make and if everybody can't have access to what I've made then i can't really enjoy what i am doing since i know people are missing out D:.

 

This sounds extremely depressing XD but i'm not upset i just want everyone to enjoy my mods

One of the mods on the nexus has said you just need permission form Hellosanta to upload a follower using SG, but if you upload a follower using KS hairdos, make sure they use one form 265, 400 will cause your file to be removed, and about the textures, just get in contact with their creator and ask permission to upload a follower

I know for an absolute fact neither Honey nor Eiries want ANY of their stuff on the nexus, period; particularly on a proxy project and I'm pretty sure that unless KSS team or HS contact nexus admins for you, your shit will be either banned or hidden, cause it's happened before with regular regularity. Now it's not like they HATE the nexus or something but the reasons why nothing is hosted there anymore are rather blatantly obvious.

 

Secondly, you should be getting a clean chain of permission in the first place unless the author has expressly given open permission like Hello Santa did.

 

If other people make your stuff awesome, you need to respect their contribution to YOUR vision.

 

Do shit the right way.

Now it's not like they HATE the nexus or something but the reasons why nothing is hosted there anymore are rather blatantly obvious.

 

Secondly, you should be getting a clean chain of permission in the first place unless the author has expressly given open permission like Hello Santa did.

 

If other people make your stuff awesome, you need to respect their contribution to YOUR vision.

It's not like im not getting permission lol of course i want to do things the right way but the problem is what i said above. Some mods were banned etc...that's why it was hard for me to understand. I Have permission for KS hairdos FSC, Adorable face and other mods but.

As for the others, it's really hard sometimes to get in contact with some mod makers like the author of mad masker, i contacted him awhile asking if i could use his mod in my custom follower and i never got a reply D:.

And i can't contact arrow and knee team because i don't have enough read permission to even send them a message, and i don't even know if they speak english o.o.

 

So yeah its not like im just going to upload assets without asking.

long time ago i asked 1 of the members(a&k) if it was ok to share/upload a&k stuff, answer was all a&k stuf is free to share(coming from there team leader back then) so long you give proper credits
