Why hello there!
I am here to report the return of that nasty "I HAVE NO GREETING" bug from a couple of pages ago.  I read on how Fajeena fixed their problem, but I'm unsure as to how exactly they did it.  Is there any way that I can get a set of clear-cut instructions on how to fix this?  If it helps, know that my children all have always had the ability to have a rumor asked and they function essentially like little NPCs that follow me and fight things.  Will be posting my load order just so that people know what I've got to make this easier at the end of this.

And something that everyone's been saying has got my interest piqued:  Are my hiyoko supposed to be having...voices?  Or is that just a wanted feature?

Well, for now, just rename your race. Something that does not contain "orc". That will take care of your problem for now.

Utilise TES4Edit plutôt que le CS

 

Fais une copie de sauvegarde de ton ESP.

 

Tu charges ton mod de race perso, tu ouvres l'arbre "RACE", tu sélectionnes la tienne, dans la partie de droite tu double-cliques sur le nom de ta race à coté de "FULL-NAME", TES4EDIT va te demander de confirmer que tu vas modifier quelque-chose, tu réponds "YES I'm absolutely sure", et tu changes le nom.

 

En quittant tu acceptes la sauvegarde et voila.

 

Si tu utilises Wrye bash, rebuild ton bash comme tu le fais habituellement (c.a.d. sans inclure les mods lovers)

 

Normalement pas besoin de recommencer le jeu, mais il peut arriver qu'un mod soit dépendant du nom de ta race dans la sauvegarde.

Or, the solution of Fejeena is to set all the hiyoko races as playable with the CS

But I'm not modder, I don't know how to do that.

Ok I have seen that it's possible with TES4EDIT
 
First: Make a backup copy of your HiyokoGeneratorGeneForge.esp file.
 
Launch TES4EDIT
Right-click in the Master/Plugin Selection window

Like this screen capture, select "Hiyoko Argonian" in the tree "RACE" and "Flags" in the right window
 
double-click (slowly) in the empty value.

A Warning message appears, wait 2 seconds and click "Yes, I'm absolutely sure"

Now, in the drop down menu, select and check "Playable"

Je redoute justement ce problème de dépendances, surtout pour un mod de race, vis-à-vis des mods de compagnons.

Il faudra sans doute aussi que je modifie les dépendances de ces mods de compagnons, 1 par 1...

 

En tout cas merci, vais tenter le coup. (ça fait du bien un peu de français! ^^ )

No pbm Yvell.

 

(moi ce sont les mods de loverlabs de skyrim et oblivion qui m'ont fait progressé mon anglais lol, même si il est très loin d'être parfait au moins maintenant je connais la totalité des termes anglo-saxon pour désigner l'anatomie de la femme loool :D   )

 

 

Normalement pour les mods de compagnons ça doit passer.

C'est ce même champs (FULL NAME) qui est utilisé pour les traduction (ex: Breton -> Bréton en français), c'est surtout tout ce qui est ID et REF qu'il ne faut pas trop toucher.

I don't know if there is some uncompatibility with companions mods yet, I'll see later...

Put "elf" in your race name

 

"My ubber elf race" or something more lore friendly. Just need "elf" in the name.

Per post # 10 the system cannot find the path specified. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro. I get the same message as post 10. Does this mean it's not loading? is their a way to fix this? Thanks for your help

 

I ended up just not using the installer version.  I never got it working for some reason, so use the other one if you're having the same problem as me.

Where is your oblivion located? Program Files ~ thing? I don't really know as I don't use win8. That folder is system protected, it might work if you run as admin.

The easiest way is probably to mimic an existing race's name, preferably a popular one. "Chocolate Elf" or "Lop-ears Elf" would work, but "Elven~" something would not work as desired.

Not that I am wiling to make it recognize all the different declensions of English words even if it's possible, mind you, but OBSE string search isn't that fancy anyway. Using plain and simple words of non-conjugated form is always recommended when you're doing business with a computer.

 but remember my good idea (I haven't many good ideas :3 ): add a "settings spell", to allow player telling "I'm an elf" (or else) and choosing haircut etc) ;p

Per Post # 112 .Game is in program files (x86) and yes run as admin when running bat file. Any help would be good thank you.

 

Ahhhh.... I take it as you've already run it as admin and didn't work. I have no idea for now. I'm no batch file expert by any means but I don't see any particularly serious problem in that script.

In regards to post 112, mine's a default steam install, also on windows 8.1, nothing special about my directories.  I figured steam had something to do with it.  Wouldn't function, administrator privilege or not.  Without running as admin, it would tell me it didn't have permission, with admin it said couldn't find things.

I'm sure I'm cursed... I still have the "temporal actor" bug, even with the Hiyokoclub default package when I use MCS on my childrens... and they still disappear from my MCS list (book) and are replaced by "No name (npc)- no name (room)" in the book, and that's causing CTD when I attempt to "call them back, even from death"...  T_T

As far as I can tell, the dudes in HGGF don't meet MCS' temporary actor conditions. The only thing it cares is whether that character is a persistent reference or not. Technically they are exactly the same as the ones in the older hiyoko generators. Hiyoko and MCS worked together just fine for years.... for me, at least. Uh, I'm not sure if there is any mod that alters... *can* alter the persistent flag of random actor. Sorry.

 

Perhaps simply your MCS is malfunctioning... for some reason.

I was suspecting something like this... If I'm the only one with this problem...

I'll download it again, but the only link to MCS I have is from this website (loverlab), I'll retry to download it from here.

Salutations, I'm a big fan of this mod, the facial generator, the custom race mixing, the growth simulation, it's all awesome.

 

But I have a bit of a serious bug on my hand, for some reason quite a number of children have a grey face with "install block head" scribbled upon it. I have installed blockhead, and in an attempt to fix this problem I have tried using version 10.3, 9.2 and 8.1. None of them fixed my problem. For what I have seen this affects some custom races and most vanilla races, I've gotten good kids out of dremora/ desuchandolls, dremora/dibella temple race, khajit/wood elf, and dremora/high elf, but any none-beast race coupling gets the previously mentioned error.

 

Even more perplexity, when I start the game, before gene-forge has the chance to initialize, the kids suffering from the aforementioned bug seem perfectly normal. I know gene forge doesn't include such facial texture, but said bug is reminiscent of the failure to install blockhead when using oco v2, which I do use, my pet hypothesis is that geneforge may be grab textures from oco races without associated scripting?

 

Regardless can any one confirm compatibility between oco v2 and geneforge? Or if any one else had similar errors, what steps were taken to resolve said error?

 

And yes I do have no-mbp hiyoko generator so it probly not the same issues as post  49, they have clothes and names.

Yes, everything except InventoryIdleOverride enabled. And thanks for the quick response.

 

Update: I got conscribe working, heres the debug log

 

And I verified that my imperial\headhuman is oco v2's, I'll try to clone imperial folder and update oco esp v2 directory, then delete the current imperial\head and force gene forge to use the vanilla textures.
