Bannerlord69 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Well, sorry to make my one and only post here so far a request. Really wish I could contribute more to the community, preferably with some new lovers animations (Not good enough with Maya to make anything I'd deem worthy of sharing yet)Back on topic.I've found that Windom has been gone for a long while and can't for the life of me find his crash prevention system, that mod was essential to me.If anyone would be able to shed some light and share it or something like it that'd be fantastic.
Bannerlord69 Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 Read my PM Thank you a ton and a half.
FeebleFlies Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Dont use it! I think its not compatible with the new OBSE, and its definately not compatible with Oblivion XP for example.
gregathit Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I don't really recommend using it anymore. It is fine for a person just starting out or a very casual gamer, but if you are serious about playing with a heavily modded game it is best to hunt down and figure out why you are crashing and not have a program that tries to help you skip over them. It is like putting a band-aid on a broken bone.
varenne Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 It sort of kinda works with the latest OBSE, depending on other factors. I've been using it for better part of a year with OBSE 21. Will it address any and all possibel cause of CTDS or lockups? Hell no! I also sort of kinda agree with not using it as a crutch for sheer laziness and not troubleshooting your Oblivion build. Tes4Edit really is your best friend, so get your brain off its ass and fix your builds! But, for those of us on the constant bleeding edge of testing and tinkering it still has its place in our tool box. Nuff said.
movomo Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Actually, it sometimes does produce crashes. In my opinion, go ahead and keep using it, unless you're planning to use Oblivion XP (or similar mods that requires menuque). In case of ObXP mod, it's guaranteed to crash.
varenne Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Yup, it does, but I still like getting the 'ping' notifying me I have an issue somewhere.
