Been messing around with costume and texture swapping for Marie and Mila. Used to be adamantly against changing any of the girls proportions but Marie looks great with fuller boobs so I just decided to accept it  The modding tools produced by this community really are fantastic.

 

If anyone's curious the blue bikini is Kasumi's Hot Summer outfit without the shirt and the red one is Momiji's without the shorts. The topless Margarita costumes are from Holden's Beach Paradise mod but with different nude textures and the original wet textures as I prefer those.

This is just my experimental project and there are still lots of bugs. I am still learning and trying to create more body types. I am hoping to fix those bugs and then release them. Thank you for patience.

I really like the way you did the transparency on that, and many thanks for the alpha (I suck at making transparencies in photoshop). Did you also do that Mai one not too long ago? Can you share that alpha as well?

When the clothes are light.

Copy one of the color channels. (usually choose dark of the pattern)

And then use negative effect.(to keep the pattern)

Add a layer with a gradient tool for half body transparent.

If you guys really want to make good looking transparency you should try manually brushing transparency onto the diffuse instead of making the whole thing an equal amount of transparent and or gradient. Just use a soft brush and add transparency to the areas where flesh would be pressing against the cloth and leave the areas where the clothing is loose, like the armpits or something. It really does not take much more effort and I promise you that it is not very difficult to put a little love and care into it.

Yeah, that's the one! Thank you. The advice is also appreciated (and you as well, Holden). I've made a few transparency mods before and they either come out halfway decent or really bad. I just suck at using photoshop on textures in general.
