GrabaK
Hello there, peeps! Since I couldn't clarify it, or find any specific or useful information regarding it, I thought it'd be interesting to try asking about, here... 1) In case I do have a body mod contained within a .bsa, which doesn't allow for me to freely manipulate, browse it and so, with its own skeleton (Demonica), and a specific skeleton that will allow me to make use the same features that of xpms does (SOS / Wings), out of this .bsa, what can be done (and how) so I can put this external skeleton into the .bsa, in the place of the skeleton already contained on it? 2) Since already here, I think it wont be a problem to ask... I do have Racemenu 3 installed, but, after seeing the kind of face something like ECE can attain (as in the Bijin mods), I'm really considering changing to it... Will there be any concern or any difficulty I may come across, or any damage/incompatibility I may have in my saves, if changing from RM3 to ECE? I love RM, and always used it, but, even with a lot of cosmetic mods, most female faces look awful... ECE seems to grant pretty faces so easily... Many thanks in advance!!! Link to comment
Xpyke
1) Can't you manipulate the BSA with FOMM? It has a tool for BSA extration and works really well with bethesda's BSAs. 2) Sorry, not my field of expertise >< Link to comment

Guest
You can also put the updated skeleton (or texture, or body or whatever) as loose files. Just respect the path and names defined in the BSA. If you don't know what they are, just use the BSA unpacker as described by @nameless701. Link to comment
Spyder Arachnid
Like others have said, you can just extract the bsa and put the loose files in your data folder. Then just install your skeleton over it. Bsa is just a nice and neat package of what your data folder already is. Unpacking it won't hurt anything. Some prefer to use loose files over bsas actually. As for your RaceMenu issue, you can make those same faces in RaceMenu that they make in ECE. Just takes a bit more work. ECE is the "easy mode" when it comes to creating beautiful characters. RaceMenu has more features, but requires a bit more work on your part to get a pretty face. You can switch if you choose to, but ECE will overwrite some of your files (like headmorphs and skeleton stuff if you install the skeleton). And as always, make sure to run the script cleaner afterwards to clear any left over scripts from RaceMenu out. If you need help making a pretty face in RaceMenu, go check the preset thread. There is plenty of pretty faces in there to get you started. Use one, and modify it to your liking. Not all faces in RaceMenu have to be ugly. It's just people don't want to put in the effort to make anything good, so they revert to ECE to have it handed to them. Link to comment
Veladarius
If you want to replace an item in a .bsa all you have to do is put it into the data folder and use the same file path the items is set up with in the .bsa, When Skyrim is loading any loose files are used in place of ones in the .bsa. My biggest concern was not only about making a good face for the PC, but, also, so to try granting all of the NPCs a better look, overall! As well as have the certainty that things would work with mods as this NPC85 [ http://blog.naver.com/sidearmf93/90191005821 ] and the Bijin ones! As for the .bsa question, thanks a lot to everyone! I'll try installing it our of the package so I can browse its items. a lot! Link to comment
gvman3670
FOMM will let you extract bsas and it will show the file path used in the bsas. It won't repack them, though. I gave Demonica oily skin using the loose file using the appropriate file path method and that worked fine. Link to comment
