Kakabishan Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Im at my wit's end with this. This occurs pretty frequently and sometimes not. When I load my recent save, it sometimes lets me into the save, and other times it just crashes constantly when I load it.However, if i start a new game and then load the game it works 100% of the time. -I've generated FNIS everytime- I've made sure that skyrim.esm is in plugins.txt- Sorted my mods with LOOT and cleaned the masters with TES5EDIT- Using ENBoost and Sheson's memory patch- Scripts arent the issue, the log is attached to the point where it usually CTDs on load (Although im not sure if its relevant)- Disabled all my mods and started with a vanilla game (Except for textures/meshes and live another life) and it still occurs- I have not disabled any mod (ESPECIALLY With scripts) Mid game.Specs: I7-5500u 3.0Ghz, Nvidia GTX 840m (2gb vram), 8gb RamPapyrus logPapyrus.1.logLoad order Skyrim.esm Update.esm Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp Dawnguard.esm Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp HearthFires.esm Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp Dragonborn.esm Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp Skyrim Project Optimization - badbat111 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 to much data make sure you save in a small room without much junk in it if there bottles and crasp everywhere grab them and dump them in chests and barrels its a pain when it happens saving in a big area with lots of gears its like skyrim cant handle a startup save

I'd rather solve the problem at its root cause, because it might be something worse. Pretty cool mod though!
D_ManXX2 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Do you run HDT ?? or mods with HDT ?? i have notcied that mostly the crashes starts when this mod is running. if you have hdt try moving the .dll file so it cannot load hdt and see if the crashes still happens.

Now imagine loading stuff onto the truck. If you keep loading stuff onto that truck, eventually, the load will be too heavy and the truck will break down. Getting back to skyrim, the same applies. When loading a savegame in an open area, the engine has to load all the models (and their textures), all the scripts for that cell, script timers, ambient sounds, the skyboxes, LOD models and textures, your character, NPCs and probably other stuff. The only way to fix it is to run vanilla skyrim or save and load your game in a benign interior cell with only a small amount for the engine to initialise on startup.

Well, I've tried this mod too, and it still CTDs so it must be some other problem. I dont know if this is because of windows 8.1 or something because in my older computer (On vista) this never happened and that had a loooot of mods and I was completely clueless and my scripts were all over the place..

Hmm, that might be a possibility. I do run HDT and a lot of mods that do run it, ill try and isolate it and give it a go. Cheers! Edit: Nope :{, still CTDing. This is really driving me up the wall. All of these mods needs to be loaded at game start especially mods are scripted will eventually cause this too happen it also well known problem for skyrim that will never be fixed. The only work around you will have is load the game inside or go to console type coc qassmoke and save the game there and from that moment load this save first and then you will be able to load the latest save game normally again.

Well, you see, I've tried without any plugins as well on a brand new game, and playing for a bit and then reloading the save.
