Mailamea
Ok in Fallout3/NV when you are using a controller there are 3 types of movement: Walking - Jogging (When you lightly push the LS to a direction) - Running For us with keyboards theres only walking - running. So I was wondering was anyone able to make a mod which enables the jogging using a keyboard? This was already done but for skyrim. Thanks Link to comment
Guest
It can be made something similar on GECK, but using a different concept that the one behind the controller. You could try this ESP and see if it's what you mean. It reduces speed without reducing the animation speed, like a controller would do. You can jog keeping Q pressed or configuring another hotkey via MCM. On MCM you also can decide the speed (higher smoothness = lower speed) Link to comment

JLF65
I've always thought the "run" in Bethesda games was actually closer to jogging already. You need the sprint mod to have actual running in FO3/FNV. That's the very first mod I got for both FO3 and FNV - the sprint mod. It never occurred to me that someone would want to go SLOWER, but having the option is always a good thing. Link to comment

Kinda wanted to go slower for scenery video captures, and yeah I kinda miss the function in the controller where you are laying in your bed and just strolling the capital wasteland in a slow pace to appreciate the scenery. Using TTW btw Link to comment

Using TTW btw Hehehe - yeah, I need to stop and smell the roses some times. Just got FNV Ultimate, so I'll probably setup TTW after playing NV through a few times. Considering the number of analogue controllers you can have on the PC, it's slightly surprising that Bethesda didn't do better DirectInput support for the Windows versions of their games. I use the mouse and a Belkin SpeedPad n52 for Oblivion/Fallout/Skyrim. I use the Belkin driver to map the speedpad so it plays identically on all the games - no need to remember any different keys. The only difference is the thumb fire button is cast spell for Oblivion, VATS for Fallout, and shout for Skyrim. Link to comment
Guest endgameaddiction
It is more of jog rather than run. Even with the sprint mod it's just a fast forward jog. Silly imo. But that's only because I'm on Skyrim now and I'm used to the seeing a sprint animation execute while using it. Shame they lack an actual animation for landing on your feet in sneak. You land stiff unlike in Fallout's. Link to comment
