tieuphieu Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Hi all, My Skyrim usually freeze on loading screen after about 30 minutes playing time. Although I use "CFF Explorer" and "Skyrim 4Gb patch" to force it use 4GB of RAM, but the problem is still the same. And when I check it, it just use about 2.4 GB of RAM when freezing (please see the picture below) I do not know how to work through this. Please help me ! Vice ✦ Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Have you tried "Safety Load"? I'm a total noob here, so I can't post links yet. Just Google "Skyrim Nexus Safety Load". It fixed my freezing problems, along with any infinite loading screens I had. Also, I recommend using a load order sorting tool. LOOT is one of the best, in my opinion.

Mister X Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Most of the time it has nothing to do with the RAM that Skyrim may use but with the one that it actually uses. Try to use either SKSE memory patch if you are using SKSE or SSME if not. DO NOT use both at the same time, they do exactly the same. Another method could be to lower your uGridsToLoad. First install this SKSE plugin: Stable uGridsToLoad and then lower your uGrids settings like explained the uGrids Comparison. DO NOT go below 5, or your game will crash for sure!
rpgplayer4life Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 ENBOOST is also a great mod to help with the freezing/crashing issues it appears your having. I use SSME ENBoost and Cell Stabilizer for all my play throughs, increases stability 10 fold. It also sounds as though your very new to modding, I would seriously check out you tube channel "Gopher" or maybe another tutorial king like him and watch some of the videos on modding. You can learn A LOT!
SixStar Titan Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Create one save inside breeze home for now on load this save and after load yours main save this maybe resolve your problem (for me worked at least).
Mister X Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Create one save inside breeze home for now on load this save and after load yours main save this maybe resolve your problem (for me worked at least). An alternative could be to open console and type "coc Elsweyr" at the main menu. From there on you should be able to load the save properly, if it's just big and not broken.
DUBALADO Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 The order is wrong, do not use BOSS must use LOOT https://loot.github.io/ Some solutions I found:Massive lag in Battle for Whiterun, SolitudeCyniclyPink, on July 24, 2013 - 6:06 a.m., said: Did You Have an ENB and uninstalled it? If so you need to change a couple of settings in your skyrim.ini file. This worked for me. Edit this line to read "fPostLoadUptimeMS = 800" (WITHOUT QUOTES) then see if you Have This line "fExtraTaskletBudgetMS = 2000" If you do, delete it. You have a lot of Mods, May you be hitting the Skyrim 3.1G limit. Good luck.(It really works)Skyrim Performance PLUShttp://www.nexusmods...rim/mods/6387/?Skyrim Optimization Projecthttp://www.nexusmods...im/mods/32505/?I do not remember where I found this ... is that it was in nexus but no where in Skyrim ini add[LightingShader]fDecalLODFadeEnd = 0.0600fDecalLODFadeStart = 0.0500fEyeEnvmapLODEnd = 0.0fRefractionLODFadeEnd = 0.0fRefractionLODFadeStart = 0.0fSpecularLODFadeEnd = 0.0fSpecularLODFadeStart = 0.0
d4nt320 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 your game will run better with this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39594/? this program will try to not let skyrim go to CTD and other stuff like the stuff above. i use this program and i love it because everytime i play skse only my game go to CTD now i run skyrim so perfect that now skyrim run without CTD. i love that program, mod whatever.
RebelInfernal Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Safety Load is outdated I think, I just use ENBoost, StableUGridsToLoad and SKSE memory patch by Sheson.
tieuphieu Posted March 26, 2015 Author Posted March 26, 2015 Wow, many thanks to all of you. . I'll try all of solutions and will let you know the result. Again, thank you, thank you very much !

That's only partially true. The forum thread linked above also explains how to switch back to a lower uGrids setting at the bottom of the first post. Though it's not said that this always will work
