I have;

3570K @4Ghz

8gigs ddr3 CLS9 1600Mhz

2 EVGA GTX 660SC 2GB cards in Sli

27" 1080P gameplay

OS/AV on SSD

games on WD Black sata3 1TB secondary drive

With using the nude models with physics, and a lot of sexlab stuff. What other mods can I do and is there any I should avoid due to my aging hardware? I had roughly 200 mods before but its been a long time and it seems steam updated skyrim and messed up my mods. So a clean install is prob in order.

Your current machine should handle just about anything currently available for Skyrim, I would not be concerned there, obviously with 200 mods running you know the rest. :)

True and not true. Let me tell u my specs

gtx 970 msi 4gb ddr5 vram clocked at 1150 mhz overclockable to 1450 mhz

i5 2400 turboed to 3.4 ghz

8 ddr3 1600 mhz

2 tb of sata 3 hdd

windows 7 pro 64 bit

1920x1200 resolution

with 70 mods and a good enb im getting 70 fps on average. Only texture packs i got is high res texture pack and alot of 4k armor and skin texts atm but intend to expand real soon to see how much fps i get with a full 2k resolution texture pack.

Skyrim is heavy on cpu usage and is old so the system cant allocate alot of your memory no way to truly fix this unless u wanna rebuild skyrims engine which isnt a option. OFC alot of people have made patchs and shit to help but u still wont get all ur bang for ur buck on skyrim.

mostly are specs are same except ur cpu better then mine and my gpu is better then urs. Now cpu in skyrim tends be more important. So yes your good for most i just dont recommend a strong enb as they require alot of vram, now  texture packs im sure u could atleast go 2k and maybe few 4k if your careful. If not i think ur pretty darn set and will do fine with most mods and texture packs, its just the enbs that u gotta be careful on! I also recommend putting skyrim on ssd but u alrdy got windows in it so ohh well lol.

Only high res mods I use are the ones for objects laying around places, skyrim's HD texture pack, PC/NPC related textures, and any high res textures that come with other non texture mods. I'm shocked you only get 70fps avg. I averaged 90-110fps before adding in the mod that creates massive battles between npc factions. And I ran in 1080P with all settings maxed besides AA being at x8.

If you use the Bethesda "hi-res DLC", you should absolutely use Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized and Unofficial High Resolution Patch.

The official DLC is pretty much poop in quality and memory usage, these mods fix that.

Isn't the unnoficial hi res patch rolled into the hi res dlc optimized?

The last UHRP update is from 2014-10-13, while the DLC Optimized mod from 2013-02-10, and there are only a few conflicts between them.

AFAIK the UHRP only fixes bugs in the DLC, while the BHRDLCO ( ;)) only optimizes the excessive texture sizes without looking worse.

Suggested install order is 1. UHRP -> 2. BHRDLCO, at least if you follow Gopher's advice.

Your Skyrim on a normal H D D and V ram(this will no matter what always be problem 2gb is very limited to have heavy modded game) will be bottleneck if you use to heavy textures and E N B.

Still if you install lite versions and performance E N B you should be fine and make a beautiful game.

But you have to spent some time figure out whats best for your system by research and follow advice from mod makers or experts.

Plenty of good videos explain why some work better then others.

Good luck.

I think you are pretty limited to the amount of texture mods. your sli config only has 2gb of memory wich isnt much for skyrim these days(only the memory from 1 gpu will work in sli setups). Second, idk how enb's work out for sli setups but i know some parts of an ENB won't work in sli unless you search some work arround.

LOL!

I almost cried with shame for my system, until I saw your post. I'm running a 3.0 quad with Radeon 4800 graphics, and 6 gig DDR2. I can't believe that I beat out the ZaZ with these specs.

Of course, looking at the magnitude of your contributions, and then developing what you have with only those specs, I've a whole different reason to feel humbled.

You do realize that I have erected a small shrine with bits of animal carcass to honour you right next to my computer (Helps keep the kids off it, anyway).
