Mewwt Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 So, I reinstalled skyrim completely clean and such, installed a few mods and had a bug with the racemenu. The message I had was "RaceMenuPluginXPMSE.esp requires master "RaceMenu.esp" to be loaded before it" (in Tes5Edit). I thought installing racemenu would fix it, but it just kinda did. I don't get any warning message in Tes5Edit, but skyrim still crashes (at the bethesda logo).  The papyrus log won't give anything useful, and loot doesn't seem to fix that. Any ideas?
Swissenergy Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 It's most likely you're still missing a master file if the game is crashing at beth logo. Have you tried installing it a second time in case the mod failed to install correctly the first time? Also the latest version of RaceMenu requires SKSE v1.7.2 to work.
zenna11 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 use LOOT to sort plugin if you got that meesage that mean your race menu plugin its below racemenupluginxpmse LOOT fix that you can move your pluing to manual but better use LOOTÂ And when you instal mods like skeleton you need check what this mod requires and all requires mods need be instal beforeÂ
Swissenergy Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 To echo what the user above recommended, make sure you have the requirements of that racemenupluginxpmse and for me I have the same exact plugin and here's how my load order looks:  RaceMenuPlugin.esp . (about a dozen more mods) . RaceMenuPluginXPMSE.esp RaceMenu.esp  That's the load order I have after using LOOT, if your load order looks different you could try it this way and see it helps. If your load order is the same as this then I don't know what to tell you other than making sure you have all the requirements for the mods in your load order.Â
Mewwt Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 Fixed it, thank you very much! For some reason, LOOT put RaceMenu.esp at the top instead of the bottom. I really appreciate it!
myuhinny Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 No auto sorter is going to be 100% fail safe as they can still make mistakes which is why you have to manually move some things to where they might need to be depending on what you are installing and what the author states to put their mod at.
