More efficient (as i understand it), but also the main draw is that the body mesh itself can be given physics, as opposed to relying on the skeleton and the body which is how it works now.

 

Another way of putting it, rather than for example having a belly node that moves a part of the belly around, the belly of the body mesh itself has the physics, which also means it's a lot easier to make collisions work since instead of having to work with rough collision shapes to get some semblance of accuracy, it works with the model's own shape. You still need to specify the physics stuff, but it's a lot easier and more accurate.

 

And that means as people figure it all out, we can eventually have actual full-body deformations, thighs smushing with the lower legs when kneeling for example, and i can foresee stuff like bigger breasts spilling over crossed arms instead of kinda being pushed away or clipping as it works now.

Just tried this out and even with all the jitter it's fantastic watching all those bits and pieces behaving in a way that makes real world sense, it makes the fabric strips seem genuinely like they're gauzy and light, the weight of the little bells pulling at the cloth they're attached to as they swing around. Very entertaining, could spend an hour just aimlessly moving around.

You have to dl each part manually by clicking folder then selecting file to dl without exe. As long as you don't try to click a folder to dl you won't be made to dl their program just click on files inside folders.
