CBBE Naked? How to remove underwear?

i feel like an idiot.. i've always been a UNP person, but have been trying to help a friend get into modding skyrim and they liked the CBBE body better than UNP, so i told them they should use it. But... now we are unable to figure out how to make CBBE /naked/? Like when i take off my armour on a UNP body the character is actually nude. CBBE seems to have "baked on" underwear like the vanilla skyrim character? Well they look different than the vanilla underwear but they seem unremoveable?

How do we make the character nude? Sorry i'm helping them right now and trying to google the answer.. but it's a bit frustrating. i'm about to tell them to just use UNP since UNP is so simple! >.<

Maybe it's easy but i don't work good under pressure and i'm feeling bad making my friend wait :\ When they really want to try modded Skyrim and looking cuter for the first time.

Re-install CBBE and say no to never nude and any underwear options, if you say no to use but then install them anyway and bodyslide everything they get picked up as well so when you use bodyslide make sure to untick any of the never nude/underwear options as well

It's quite very simple, i think.

First: Did you install throught steam workshop?

If yes, thats why the body is covered. (need to replace the body textures)

Second: Install through NMM from the nexus?

If yes, you missed the options to get the body naked. (reisntall)

We installed through Mod Organizer (and got CBBE from Nexus).. We didn't install BodySlide.. do we need that to get CBBE to be nude? Does CBBE just naturally "come" with Bodyslide?

Sorry i've never used CBBE before and it is seeming, already, more complicated than UNP. It's installer seemed to be making us choose an underwear option. Like it seemed my friend had option "CBBE underwear style 1, CBBE underwear style 2, never nude, or none" but it seemed to say "none" was "underwear with the default Skyrim vanilla texture", rather than being "none" as in "no underwear at all".

BUT!

i'll try to have my friend install it again and see if we can /not choose/ the underwears.

Don't use MO myself, as i recall you just tick no option for underwear and then it will offer a option of do you want to install textures but not use and you can say no to that as well

Bodyslide is a seperate install as i recall, you don't have to use it but you can't make outfits fit if you don't

OH YAY!! it is naked now... i totally misunderstood what the "None" meant!!! It was actually much more simple than i thought >.<

So i really am an idiot. Anyway, thank you to both of you for responding!!

Yeah, when I created the CBBE installer I went with this logic:

1.) Curvy, Slim or Vanilla? -> installs those files.

2.) Depending on #1 -> display curvy OR slim OR vanilla underwear options.

3.) Select one -> installs those files. Select none -> doesn't install files, meaning the nude body from #1 is kept.

A lot of people seem to have problems understanding this logic, both on Nexus and LL.

But why is the panty option there in the first place lol

I imagine for those that want a body mod to fit the armor etc but aren't actually running sex mods
