Also, I reread the first post and honestly I don't see anything rude, just someone wanting to see pictures of specific type of characters, is that a major crime? I'm quite confused at how some people here can be so sensitive to this... Like.. Really. I'm glad not everybody here is like that, or LL would sucks big time just like Nexus Forum/comments section.

Thanks, mate, but seriously, don't bother.  It's now 9pm and I'm firing up my old gaming rig.  I won't be back.  

 

And we're 2 full pages in of shit-slinging.  It's just not worth it.  I know I can come off a bit grumpy and opinionated.  Re-reading my OP I can see some people reading in me being a dick.   I'm early-middle-aged and it's getting harder and harder to be less opinionated.  Oh Gods... I'm slowly becoming a grumpy old man!  I totally get it now why those old geezers have so little patience!  Gah!  By the Nine, I'm a grumpy old man!

If you have been around this long then you should know by now that when it comes to modding people here are more willing to help than just about any place on the net, regardless if you are a noob or expert.  And this is from someone who came to the site knowing nothing about modding and has learned a great deal because the "old salt" you referred to don't look down on newcomers.

 

There is however a culture I observed against entitlement or people passing judgement.  When you put up a sensationalistic thread title like RAPE which is basically asking for stuff and justifying it by claiming 95% that's already available are rubbish it will and has rubbed people the wrong way.  Had the thread about your own works and inviting others to participate then the reactions would be very different.

 

If you really want to be helpful just direct visitors to the existing thread dedicated to sharing and no prerequisite:

Welp seeing that reality base character is needed here my khajiit self will move on (body wise is pretty realistic just i don't know if people like mid-chubby girls) but still come back once and while to see people characters i may not play as a human (personal reason which most people will find stupid) but seeing people reality skyrim character is pretty damn cool ^-^

 

Naming the topic wise....i would've gone with "R.H.P - Realistic Human Preset" sounds better and not so....wrong i guess i can put it hey im trying don't bite my head off :(  

 

Aww, I have no reason to bite your head off :-)  I'm a strick self-defensive type of guy.  I never take the first swing, but I'll do my F'n best to stomp the shit out of you if you swing at me. 

 

RHP is actually pretty good, but I was trying for something with a little 'edge' to it, being the flavor of this site.  RHP certainly is much better than a frickin' 'Expo'!  LOL.  Gods that was lame, I admit, but I just couldn't think of anything with an E. 

 

But, I wouldn't bother coming back.  Aparently this was all a bad idea and very unwelcome according to the old salts of the forum, so this topic is a bust... and not the nice C-cup type :-(  I'm just gonna hang around a bit more and answer anyone else who wants to take pot shots at me, then I'll go play Skyrim.  After tonight I'll probably never come back to this thread. 

 

MODS!  Please delete this thread, if you would be so kind.  My damn F9 key is not reloading this forum to a point before I started this thread!

 

 

To be honest i can see this being an active thing it just need a title change (Major problem)

I know that the ONLY time I ever asked for help on this site I was completely ignored by the mod author (and I'm talking about a CORE mod that probably 99% of the people here use).  I know that after 65 pages on that mod's thread 3 others asked about the exact same issue and were similarly ignored.  The mod had zero issues about the endless questions that were clearly explained on the mod's page & cutting & pasting the answer from said source.  Point being, every site/forum has it's good and bad apples.  I'm not impressed with the 'helpfulness' of LL vs any other site as I'm batting 0 for 1.  But that is just one man's observations. 

 

I am not sure of what 'entitlement' you think I was demanding.  I was offering to help & share with people with interests that paralled mine.  I have particular 'tastes'.  I crave a realistic, gritty, hard-core game.  I use Requiem with a suite of mods to make it as nasty and gritty as I can, including bandits that rape and capture and... it doesn't matter.  

 

The point is I was asking for like-mined people to contribute on a voluntary basis, with the widely held expectation that if this not your thinig that you'd just move along, as happens on countless other threads on countless other forums.  I was accused of being a troll, yet I can point to 2 fucking pages of trolls just jumping in to a thread they had no interest in just to say what a fucking bad idea THEY think it is. 

 

And honestly, the acronym 'RAPE" is "sensationalist" on a forum bursting at the seams with every fucking cultural taboo known to mankind?  Really?  REALLY?  Sorry, dude.  I'm not buying it.  My "crime" is is not being deviant enough and not liking what others like.  People got their panties in a bunch when I excluded their fettish.  I don't like anime 10 year olds so a shit ton of people have to jump in and fuckin beat on me.  That's the impression I got. 

 

I did not "pass judgement" until i started getting gang raped.  I simply stated what I was and was not looking for.  I stated I saw a lot of distatesful presets without singling out anyone. 

 

I explained I spent HOURS scrolling through threads dedicated to sharing 'beautiful" presets.  What a huge waste of time.  But apparently one more thread in a sea of threads is too fucking much to ask for. 

 

And I need to shut the hell up now as I somehow managed to drink 2 more Stoudts American Pale Ales just typing this...  Great micro-brew if you are at all a beer snob and like a mildly hoppy beer that isn't too bitter!  My current favorite and not too expensive as the brewery is in Adamstown, PA and only 15ish miles away!

Well, it's 11:15pm here.  I wish I could say I've enjoyed everyone's company here, but truth is, all I'm feeling now is disapointment, and a little sadness.  The only time I've ever been involded in anything like this is when some asshole was pouncing one someone and I tried to come to the rescue. 

 

I'll part with a thank you to all who participated.  I have a better understanding of the LL community now, so I did learn something.  Despite my verbal ripostes I mean no ill will.  When someone takes a swing at me I'm obligated to return with full force.  Perhaps we can talk on something not involving this topic.

You rushed to defend yourself and didn't even look at the threads you linked.

 

Two of those are for Racemenu presets. One is outdated, the other specifically for v3 onwards. The old one should be locked or archived. These threads serve a purpose because these presets are different from vanilla presets in a meaningful, mechanical way - that is, they're specifically for RaceMenu.

 

This is not a preset thread, this is a sort of communal user guide on how to create so-called beautiful women.

 

This thread and this both died before breaking two pages for the same reason this thread should die - they were unnecessary.

 

This thread is the only one I don't know if it's useless or not.

 

Again. We don't need multiple threads for this.

Gotta be. Nobody smart enough to actually use the search feature to try to defend themselves and post the results is dumb enough to fail to grasp the concept that there's already threads for this purpose. That sign-off is ridiculous too. Who actually does that?

No, you're right.  I did not look too closely at the threads, but I know damn well there is more than 1 thread for presets, at least 2 for RM and 1 for ECE. And in the 'How to" thread people were swapping slots, so it is yet another de facto share thread.  Whether it's pre v3 or not is mostly irrelevent.  The dials, to the best of my knowledge, have not changed much.  If it worked in 2.9 it'll work in 3.  All mine do anyway. 

 

And the 'sign off' is sincere.  I'm actually a nice guy.  But when I step my foot into a forum and a bunch of assholes pounce on me I tend to get a little defensive.  A week or 2 weeks from now if i see you in another thread I will do my fucking damnest to forget about this thread... unless you start being an asshole again.  Some people just can't help it.  I get it, but I'm a 2nd chance kind of guy.  I've upvoted people on reddit 2 days after having it out with them in a different thread.  Just because they were an asshole before doesn't make their current point of view invalid. 

 

Then again, one guy comes in with the def of troll in his sig, obviously not reading the thread and throws out a 1 sentence accusation of trolling.  And another comes in, obviously not reading the thread where it was plainly stated about multiple preset shares saying we need only 1.  What conclusion would YOU draw?  My conclusion was sound.  2 guys with NOTHING to offer about the OP and feeling the need to take a swing.

Couldn't you have simply phrased that you did not like younger looking characters, smooth anime-ish skin and large breasts? And no one would have "trolled" your thread.

 

Besides as it was stated we do not need multiple "share your presets" threads, simply have patience and tolerance while browsing existing threads until you stumble upon something you like.

You're right... I did do that.  I started this thread fresh off that frustration and I put it in the OP.  I didn't mean it as a personal affront, but yeah, I see it :-( 

 

I don't think I deserved all the attacks for voicing an opinion.  I came off a little opinionated (ok, more than a little opinionated), but I don't think that deserves people launching into me. 

 

There are no 'take-backs' or F9s in RL, but at least allow me to offer an apology.  I am sorry for the insulting post, guys.  My apologies for passing judgement on your preferences.  I really didn't mean to do that, but it's there.  I did do it.  I'm sorry!

Honestly I feel sad because a few days ago someone came out of nowhere and helped me to convert a model to be playable on Skyrim, without asking anything in return, now what I see is another side : people spitting at each other for the most stupid reasons. You guys are so sensitive I wonder if someone can even make a joke about you.

3.  Post the mods needed as well as the racemenu preset, of course.  Kind of the whole point to this is so that others can reasonably duplicate your masterpiece.
