Stupidfast Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I can't seem to get them up and running, are they currently enabled in 1.59c of Sexlab? Just installed everything and all mods seems to be working fine, its just both actors just stare off into space during no matter what I set in MCM. I have the Female Facial Animations mod from the nexus but that just seems to be a framework for posing. Anyway to get the animations up and running?

You can have Facial Animations or Lip Sync but only one, attempting to use both together does not work.

Lip Sync will occationally (one of every 3 encounters) cause her to sync with the voice acting. Facial animations only seems to work with certain animations, in fact only the missionary/choking rape animations to be specific. The rest of the time both actors stare off and occationally blink. Is this a bug or has animation not been implemented yet for other animations?

If I understand it correctly the facial expressions are weakly shown until the actors are rated highly in whatever form of sex they are performing so that may be part of the issue.

Fomebs Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I seem to be having the same issue. With facial expressions enabled, there is some change to the actors' expressions (though slightly detectable); but there is no mouth movement at all. Are the facial expressions meant to be simply expressions without mouth animations to go with? Is there a mod that combines lip-sync with facial expressions? And on a related note, is there a way/mod/tweak to make lip sync work in free camera mode? It apparently is only working when the camera is restricted, and there is not much point to that since you can rarely see faces when the camera is restricted.
sunder02 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I had an issue with facial expressions not working properly , chars would either stare blankly or just have their mouths gapping open regardless of the scene , resetting the expression registry seems to have fixed that for me , I think it might be a problem with updating the framework from 1.59 to 1.60 in my case. Try it , maybe it will work for you too.

I don't know that it still applies to the current version of the framework anymore but you can definitely still try it to see if it helps.
