I must be doing something wrong. It didn't work.

We can't help you unless you provide us with more information, such as if other mods are working or what you've tried.

If this is your first time trying to play with mods, make sure you can play with _any_ mod.  I'd suggest MasterController, since you'd probably want it anyway and you can tell immediately if it works by clicking on city hall and seeing if you get the NRaas menu option.  If that doesn't work for you, then you haven't installed the mod framework correctly.  Google can help you with that.

More experimentation with the tomb mummy thing.

Turns out that while KW keeps the mummy around (instead of it going back into its sarcophagus and disappearing), it won't be there if you save and reload.

I tried turning on aging and setting "treat as vacation" to false in NRaas Traveler.  My sim went into labor eventually and I was prompted for a name, but the baby never showed up.  I got an ErrorTrap message in AssignBabyCelebrityLevel that was calling the KW CreateNewborns routine.

So yeah, unless KW (or some other mod) preserves the mummy's data, it looks like mummy pregnancy is a bust.

Works well but i have a problem..  All women sims seem to have a penis (theres a vagina visible underneath).. Ive tried removing it in create a sim but obviously its not an accessorie, neither do I have the option of changing their penis state... How can i solve this problem? I used to have this mod before but didnt have this problem..

KW causes problems with all foreign pregnancies, I've found, even when the father is an ordinary sim. If the mother gets pregnant in a foreign location and returns home while the father is back in the other world, her pregnancy is erased. The only time this has happened to me is when I've had KW installed. I tried to tell Oniki this on Patreon, but she said it wasn't KW's fault, it must be something else. I don't agree.

Anyway, congrats on getting your sim pregnant, at least! I've been trying to get my sims to bang and get knocked up by a mummy since the game first came out, lol. I thought a mummy baby would be so cool! Even if there's not a special skin for them, it would just be cool to have a mummy in the family tree. Oh well, it's never happened for my sims.

Speaking of that, I don't play with the zoo aspects of the game that much. What happens when your sim woohoos a deer? What kind of baby will she have? Is there a deer in the family tree? lol  I've been wondering about that.

Check to see if you're using the default replacement penis for women instead of the accessory one.  You want the accessory one.

I've never had issues with foreign pregnancies with KW, other than the mummy thing.

Getting your sim pregnant by a tomb mummy with KW is pretty easy - just send an ovulating sim with no athletic skill down into a tomb where a mummy is.  You gotta have rape turned on, I imagine.  I'm not aware of any way of doing it without KW.  The problem is that the game doesn't keep the mummy's data, so when the baby is born it gets an error trying to create the baby.  If money issues weren't so tight right now, I'd join KW's patreon and request it as a feature.

I've never tried to woohoo a deer.  Is there even an animation for that?

Heh.  I'll do you one better: my family travelled to the future with a pregnant wife and my homemade SexPlumBots, hoping to sell them.  Everything worked fine until I tried to return from the future, sans one PlumBot and with the wife still pregnant.  One hundred percent corrupt, five out of five attempts.  As soon as the loading screen finished, every member of the family had a default Sims 2 placeholder portrait and the world was uninteractible to the point of having to be manually killed in Task Manager, as none of the game menus worked either.  Obviously it was some sort of conflict with Portrait Panel or a UI bug with Oniki's mod.  Since I had a backup of the saved game from before I travelled in the first place, I simply Dragon-Broke the timeline and pretended it never happened, though.

This was version 0.30 or something, but changing any family members in a vacation destination or travelling with pregnant sims is something I give a very wide berth to now. =)

Man, I have. If the father stays in the foreign world when the preggy sim comes home, I get an error message that the 'father's data is not found, pregnancy terminated,' or something like that. I also have Nraas's Traveller mod installed, so the two might be conflicting.

I'm so gonna try this -- I wonder if you speed up the pregnancy using a mod so the sim gives birth right away while the mummy is still around, like an instantaneous birth, maybe it will work? It would be fun to try.

I haven't tried it either, but I heard it was a feature of this latest release.

Same. I used to love having sims woohoo foreigners or get up to weird stuff when they travel, like kidnapping someone and adding them to the original family, so that's been kind of a bummer to lose.

Well, tried getting pregnant by a tomb mummy again, and this time it turned out differently (although still unsuccessful).

She was definitely pregnant (confirmed in MasterController, father was the mummy) when she left Egypt.  On return, she was ovulating.

I got this from ErrorTrap:

System.NullReferenceException: A null value was found where an object instance was required.
#0: 0x000f7 callvirt   in Oniki.Gameplay.Oniki.Gameplay.Womb:Update () ()
#1: 0x00571 callvirt   in Oniki.Gameplay.Oniki.Gameplay.SimData:Perform () ()
#2: 0x00007 leave.s    in Oniki.Gameplay.SimData+Task:Perform () ()
#3: 0x00007 ldthis     in Oniki.Services.Oniki.Services.Task:Simulate () ()
#4: 0x00027 leave.s    in ScriptCore.ScriptCore.ScriptProxy:Simulate () ()

So yeah, KW seems like it can't handle the way the game deletes mummies.  I might try turning aging on for her and seeing if having the baby in Egypt works.

I also got a major error on nearly every sim in Egypt and one of my family sims became unselectable, but I'm not sure that's related.  Going to test some more and find out.

have you guys tried nrass traveler? I haven't tried it, but traveler edits vacations and moving errors for foreign sims

I use Traveler.  I don't have problems with foreign pregnancies or moving errors - the mummy thing is a completely separate issue that has to do with how EA coded the mummies.

Basically, the mummies are temporary objects in the game; after the fight, they either blow away or go back into their sarcophagus.  Either way, the game deletes the object, which is why the mummy doesn't stay around as an enemy in your relationship panel.  Since the mummies can't be interacted with (clicking on them doesn't bring up a menu), there's no way you could end up pregnant from a mummy in the normal game, so EA didn't put in any code to deal with it.

I'm not aware of any other type of sim that behaves this way.  NPCs with incomplete data can become full sims by joining a family, so the game has a way of dealing with them; I don't know if it'd be possible for mummies to work like that or not.  I know jack about C# or Sims 3 modding and this feature isn't enough to justify spending the time to learn it.  I've got much more important programming tasks I'm procrastinating about

I've pretty much given up on the mummy thing anyway.  If Oniki Kay adds code to KW to deal with it, then that'd be great, but it's not going to break my heart too much if she doesn't.

I think the problem is with extracting files. I'm running Windows 10, downloaded the first step to get the folder, then when I tried to unzip the mods, they wound up being saved to either wordpad or word. I had zipped folders all over the place, in downloads, documents, whatever. I know I'm a noob, but it just doesn't seem to be that hard after I followed the directions on the link. I'll delete the mods files, then start over. It's possible I do need an extractor since windows extractor prompted me to put the files in word, notepad and other places that aren't for file storage.

Thanks everyone for the help.

Any time Windows prompts you for a program to open a file, it means that there's no program that has registered itself to handle that kind of file*.  So yes, you need an extractor program - 7zip in this case.

7zip is free and IIRC doesn't come with ads or malware or anything.

* Oftentimes people will name files things like "readme.1st" or "filename.nfo" and that confuses Windows.  What makes it worse is that windows hides the file extension from you by default, because Microsoft believes people are too stupid to understand them.  One of the many reasons I've been UNIX-only for two decades.

The only NPCS with incomplete data are Tourists and Explorers (aka Mini-Sims) and the game has absolutely no way of handling them properly.

You need the right set of mods to make it safe (scroll all the way to bottom) http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Traveler FAQ

I forgot about those ones.  I was talking about the various service sims, like the kissing booth people, bartenders, and baristas.  You know, the ones that give you "Womb not found" when you do Kinky World->Debug->ShowInfos.  I was under the impression that those didn't have complete data, but I'm no modder so I may be mistaken.

Those mini-sims are the way they are because of the completely screwed-up way that EA implemented vacation worlds.  Mummies are native to the world they're in, so I'd be surprised if they're done the same way mini-sims are.

Hi, I have a problem, so I installed Kinky World v0.37, and all the recommended stuff (CC and animations) and everything is working perfectly except when I get notifications sometimes they come out looking like this PostPhotogrpah:ProfesionalFeedback (I will attach a picture). Imight be an ID conflict.

Thanks

Service Sims, Role Sims and Homeless Sims are not incomplete sims they are full sims with all the necessary data they are just core blocked by the game from getting pregnant do to the fact they are technically "homeless" (even though they have a virtual off screen home that we can't see). The game uses virtually next to no resources on them making female Service, Role and Homeless sims incapable of managing a pregnancy.

When I was a Patreon I remember KW had a problem with werewolves and mummies because of their special outfits it was supposed to have been fixed but it looks like it got broken again somewhere down the line.

That's normal.  It just means Oniki hasn't filled in the message that's supposed to go there.  It's just a consequence of using a "Work in Progress" mod.

I guess I was mistaken, then.

To be clear, I was talking specifically about tomb mummies (King Raymundo II and such), not regular sims that have been mummified by other means.  I haven't had any issues with regular mummies and werewolves.

Hey guys. Forgive me if this has been brushed over already in the thread but I've tried scouring as much as I can and haven't found it being addressed. My sim is a 'high class escort girl'. Whenever I go on an escort mission, after all the tireless dancing and 'lemme buy you a drink' interactions,  when they go to a registered hotel and her client is about to pay her, the client completely disappears, my sim glitches and transforms into her everyday clothing immediately. It always happens at the point where the client is to pay her. I just want to know if anyone is experiencing this issue and if they have found a solution thus far. It's quite annoying af tedious especially since it takes up to 10 hours of 'dancing' and 'lemme buy you a drink' interactions before the interaction to get paid comes up.

Edit: She never gets paid.

Tomb mummies shouldn't be any different than any other homeless sims that you move in. Except tomb mummies are elders when you remove their occult status.

None of my girls have been escorts, they're always callgirls. But I was having the problem with the client disappearing. So I said to myself, Self, let's try this. So I took Nraas and all it's mods associated with it out of my mod folder. Problem solved. So now, about every 2 sim weeks I'll throw Nraas back in just so sims will finds jobs and girlfriends/boyfriends. Wait a week and take it back out. Plus it's done away with a bug I was having. Go in CAS with Nraas. edit my sims, click finish and get an error and all was for nothing. But, that's what I'm doing to prevent the disappearing clients.

I have an issue with the high school outfit where the teens hair and accessorises (E.G Glasses) change or don't show up. It was work fine previously but now I don't know why it's not working. Is there a mod that is incompatible with this feature?

Just curious - when you want to play Kinky World - do you need Into the Future - apparently its needed for the dreaming animations but I have never seen these - is there something I'm missing? I really want to play with the minimum packs required so I'm using:

-University

-Generations (do we need this for Prom?)

-Late Night

-World Adventures

-Into the Future (might remove)
