Lovelybones19 Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 I have the majority of them and the modern loft furniture stuff pack. The only ones I don't have are pets and ambitions, but I will see what I can do. How do you use kw when you are missing important expansions like university and late night? I figured those two would be the most integral parts of the mod. Like the clubdancing and kinky selfies/school. I'll use seasons and the base game I'll just use some gnarly paint to make it more sleazy or grimy. Wish me luck. You're right, of course I'm missing some features, but on the bright side, that means I still have new things to explore both in kw and the game when I get those expansions one day. My main concern is, that my computer won't be able to handle more expansions at the moment. I started off with ts3+pets (don't ask me why it had to pets ... I probably should have picked some other starter bundle) and when I added seasons and ambitions the time it takes to load the game (even without cc or mods) increased significantly. I mainly stumbled upon kw, because I wanted a more realism for intercourse and pregnancy - that EA-default wobbling blanket thing is just ridiculous. I also tried Passion, which is also a very good mod, but lacks the fertility cycle feature which makes kw more interesting. For now, I can live without clubdancing and selfies (I don't like smartphones irl, so guess I'll get along in game just fine without them). Also, I probably spend more time in CAS trying out new CC (and discarding them again) and trying to create a perfect sim (they're never good enough though) than actually playing the game. If the standalone version of CAS had access to CC and expansion content, I could spend days just with that, lol. I finally uploaded the brothel its in the downloads section for sims 3 here at LL let me now if there are issues.
Vester7 Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Lovelybones19 and to anybody else who'll read my post: I've been making my sims (who have a household of eight already at the start) woohoo without protection on their fertile period but none of them get pregnant (with creampie moodlet resulting at the end). Is this because of an interfering mod? I have Nraas MasterController, Careers, Retuner, ErrorTrap (with Disable Deferences), Mover, Portrait Panel, Relativity, and StoryProgression. Or is it because of my personal modifications - I've modified the options file to allow all sims to have a total base lifespan of 29,000 days (close to 80 years). Or is it because I've set the pregnancy duration to be 6570 hours (9 months)? Do I have to do some personal tweaking to allow a successful pregnancy VIA KINKYWORLD only interactions? I don't want to use mastercontroller or a cheat to "pollinate" sims? Or is this simply because Kinkyworld doesn't allow a pregnancy to occur in a household of already having 8 sims? Please respond guys...

I've read your posts and I'm sure others have as well, I don't play with that long of a lifespan and I do not play with 8 Sims in a household let alone more than that so I don't have the problems you're having and therefore have no help or advice to give. It's not that you're being ignored it might be that others are in the same position as me and have nothing helpful to say. And I've noticed most of the people who post here are new to this mod and are just asking for help so they wouldn't be able to help you either. Hopefully someone who has encountered your issue will respond. Good luck.

Unless you have some mod running that allows you to exceed this limit, it's likely that the pregnancies are not occurring because of this. http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/technicalhelp/households.php Perhaps try moving some sims out to another household, or play a different one with less than 8 members as a test to see if the pregnancies will work. @Vester7, although you mentioned above and in a previous post that KW is supposed to allow you to exceed the 8 member limit I don't remember seeing that as a feature. I personally haven't made a household with 8 members, so I cannot say for certain. (edited for clarity)
Vester7 Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Ok then, haha, how does one mod or at least check Kinkyworld to see how the pregnancy in it works? Is Onikikay even around - who else is knowledgeable of Kinkyworld's contents? It seems my base problem - if it is possible to have a household of eight sims have even more children - is something many players here haven't even experienced or contended with, so I need to look at the scripts themselves rather than rely on observations in-game.

Oh my (insert name of your faved higher being here)! How about you kick one and have seven and then try to exceed that 8 sims limit? Do your sims even have the fertile-period-moddlet when you`re trying? Have you checked in debug/showinfos if there`s sperm in the womb? Have you avoided using condoms? Have you checked the fertile duration? Have you checked kinkyworld/debug/settings? Have you checked the sperm-fertility settings? Have you checked general kinky settings? Why is the sky blue? Edit: Nraas MC has a setting "allow more than 8 sims per household", have you tried that?
Otti Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 tested with seven YA ,one Sim: All setting to Ovulatory and horny with debug.Goes into an Sexathon.and all getting Pregnant.Maybe your settings in Menstrual/Preggo are to low.the setting after Sperm life.Standard is 10. ive set this to a lower normal, but for this test to 20.So,more than 8 Sims are working.
FreakyRufus Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Neither of these really worked so I took out all NRaas Story Progression and Overwatch. I really hope this works. Aaron, getting back to basics, can I check on your hardware and what versions of Sims 3 and the various mods you're using (including KW)? The solution might end up being as simple as needing to re-download them. I did that a million times. I figured it out though. It was my socialCache.package. Weird that no one else gets this... I always clear out all of my caches before I launch the game. Attached is my batch file, saved as plain text, since I cannot upload '.bat' files here for some reason. Just rename it to 'cclear.bat', drop it into your "The Sims 3" folder (or subfolder, such as "Saves"), and then double click on it before starting the game. Renaming it doesn't change that...if you want, pm me and I'll give you my email to send the original file to. I've also been deleting the socialCache and it started happening again. But I've noticed that when I reload the game, it's completely reset, the season, relationships, wishes (unless it's related to the Life Time Wish), days, some moodlets, needs, everything except career progress. I also get a message asking me if I want to add in lots that aren't in the world. (Dog Park, Cat Park, supernatural hangouts, Bot Emporium.) Any ideas? First, I apologize if parts of this post seem to be condescending. It is not my intention. I don't know your technical capabilities, so I'm providing as much detail as I can. Are you saying that you are unable to download the file? Looking at that post, I see that several other people have downloaded it. If you want to try again, the original post is here. At the bottom of the post is a box that says "Attached files". Just click on the file name "cclear.txt" and your browser should download it. Or are you saying that after downloading it and renaming it, it doesn't run when you double click on it? If you are running on a Windows computer with the default setup, it normally won't show you the name extension on "known" file types, so it might just show you "cclear" without the ".txt" part. If that is the case, then renaming that to "cclear.bat" will actually result in the file being called "cclear.bat.txt", and the ".txt" will still be hidden. Configuring Windows Explorer to show those changes a bit depending on which version of Windows you have. Probably the easiest way to rename the file is from a cmd command line window. Open a "cmd" prompt window, and navigate to where you have a copy of the "cclear" file. It might be easiest to move the file somewhere easy to get to, like your desktop. Then use the "rename" command to rename the file". Look deeper into NRAAS's Story Progression mod, I think I saw once that there is a Pregnancy cap of how many pregnancies a sim can have. Take a look there and see if that fixes the problem. It's worth a try anyway.
A is for Awesome Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 IS this compatible with Nraas Vector? Which is used to make a virus outbreak using moodlets, motives and other triggers? Can i use kinky's moodlets with it to make a horn dog virus? - Update: It does! Create a "Bitch" virus. After a female sim has sex with a dog, she gets real attracted to them and just goes around inviting dogs on all fours.

mrinku Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 (I've posted this on the FAQ as well) So guys, I believe I've posted some stuff regarding pregnancies in Kinkyworld and the answer was Kinkyworld by itself ignores the 8 sim limit. But I kinda want a second opinion on this because I'm still having problems. I've got a lot of Nraas mods and I wonder if they interfere with kinkyworld's scripts regarding this matter ( I don't have nraas woohooer though ). However I think I've identified strong factors as to why I'm having trouble with pregnancy with kinkyworld and nraas and I want to have somebody verify it. Firstly, I have a modified options that basically shifts the base lifespan stages to have a total amount of days equal to 80 years. In other words, on epic lifespan, my sims have a total of 29,000 (give or take) days to live. To balance this real lifespan out and prevent sims from potentially giving birth to a hundred babies every year, I've modified (using kinkyworld, not nraas) the pregnancy duration from the default 72 hours to 6570 hours. So, my big question, will these changes and possible other conflicting mods screw with Kinkyworld's self contained pregnancy scripts? Any response would be appreciated guys. The way KW deals with fertilization is that sperm will stay active for a time. You DON'T become pregnant immediately, or just because the creampie moodlet is in play. Use the KW debug menu to check on what sperm is active for a Sim and what the fertility rating is (under Kinky World->Debug->ShowInfos). So you do need to give it some time between the act and when fertilization actually occurs. I'd be very surprised if altering the lifespan and the pregnancy duration is causing any issues. None of those should affect the conception process. Having said that, it's entirely possible that some mod that also affects conception and pregnancy, or maximum sims is conflicting. Have you tested things with a family which is safely under the normal limit of 8?
Missartistic Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 I've had the mod for months but my sims still never catch STDs and each of them are enabled. I started to think it didn't work in my game. Is there a way to increase the chances? You need a so-called Patient Zero for an outbreak; debug>diseases>infect with.... The Nrass Vector diseases show up but not the ones for Kinky World. It never said anything about enabling the STDs ones for that mod.

FreakyRufus Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I'm on Windows 10, but I have almost no computer knowledge. But I managed to get this to change, thank you. I'll see if that fixes my issues. Okay so this didn't work so I'll give screenshots of my mods (ignore the content packages for lingerie and revealing clothes)Screenshot (86).pngScreenshot (87).pngScreenshot (88).pngScreenshot (89).pngScreenshot (90).png I am not familiar with all those mods, and I do not see anything that jumps out as an obvious issue, just based on the name. What I do when I have a mod conflict causing problems with my game is to kind of progressively narrow down the problem. For example, I start out taking out half my mods (move them to another folder somewhere outside the game folder). If the problem still exists, I take out half the remaining ones, and so on. If the problem disappears, then I know the problem is in the group I just removed, so you need to keep track of the ones you just moved out. When you find a group that includes the problem mod, move half of those back. If the problem is still gone, move a few more back, and so on. If the problem comes back, then take out some of the ones you just moved back. Keep doing that until you narrow it down to the one mod causing problems. This does take a long time, but it takes much less time than trying them all one at a time. One thing that I noticed was that all your mods are in the overrides folder. That is not necessarily a problem, but it does kind of restrict organizing your mods. You might thing about creating a couple of related folders under Packages. I'm assuming you have the standard Resources.cfg file on the Mods folder, than includes several directory levels under both Packages and under Overrides. Generally, most folks put their mods in Packages, and only use Overrides if you have two different mods that effect the same thing, but you want one of them to take higher precedence. Anyway, I have all my clothes under Mods\Packages\Clothes. I like to organize mine even further, and have directories for Tops, Bottoms, Full Outfits, Swimwear, Sleepwear, etc. You don't need to do that, but it helps when you start getting a lot of packages. I keep all my mods that change the game behavior in Mods\Packages\Hacks. Even further, I have all my mods from Nraas in an Nraas folder under hacks. You don't have to do any of that, but it can help when you need to find a mod that is causing problems. For example, you might see a bunch of NPCs running around town that are invisible from the waist down. You now know that there is a piece of bottom clothing causing the problem. At a minimum, you know that your clothing mods are not causing this issue, so you could immediately eliminate them as the issue, and not include them at all in the testing I outlined above, which is called a square array group test, if you are interested. I have another post about this here. It isn't really more detailed, but might help explain my method if this one seems a little too wordy. Since all relationships are being effected, I'd recommend starting a brand new game for the testing, with all mods out. Save that, put your mods to test back in, load that save, save as a new save, quit and load that second save to see if you still have that problem. Whether you still have the problem or not, you can just remove the second save each time you go back to test. You want to start your test each time with a town in good shape.
AaronSims Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I'm on Windows 10, but I have almost no computer knowledge. You only need something in the overrides folder that is the same type of mod. Example: KinkyWorld's "ONIKI_Videos.package" there are no videos in this package but another mod that has videos for "ONIKI_Videos.package" has videos in it, (you would put this file in the "Overrides" folder, that will load this package over ruling the videos package in KinkyWorlds mod.

CandyApple Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 If I want to give a certain personality trait to every single male or female sim in town (for example, making an entire gender or town "Woohooers"), is there a way to do this by using one of Nraas's mods? (Or by using Kinky mod itself?) Thanks!
