This question has been answered many, many times. Please at least spend a few minutes to search for your question.

 

Kinky World->Settings>Global and change privacy to standard or exhibition.

Aaron, getting back to basics, can I check on your hardware and what versions of Sims 3 and the various mods you're using (including KW)? The solution might end up being as simple as needing to re-download them.

 

I did that a million times. I figured it out though. It was my socialCache.package. Weird that no one else gets this...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Delete:

CASPartCache.package

compositorCache.package

scriptCache.package

simCompositorCache.package

 

Don`t worry. deleting those will not do any harm to your game-the game will recreate those next time you start your game. In fact it is recommended to delete them everytime you add or update a mod!

 

If you have a folder called CurrentGame.sims3 delete this too, scripterrors can also safely be deleted.

 

If that doesn`t help feel free to take a screen of your modsfolder ...maybe others can spot what is wrong

You could try to go to townview ->townhall-> nraas->town->reset (or something along those lines. See if that helps

Is there any way to get back to standard EA "change clothing" option? My English isn't the best, so I don't know if I'll explain myself clearlly, but normally when I click on Sim and get "Change Clothing", I can choose the correct clothing immidiatelly. But after installing this mod, I have big pop up window, and it's not immidiatelly, but when the time for this interaction comes... I hope you'll understand what I mean, my English is so poor.

Keep the flowers. After several days, they will dry out can be smoked or sold. Also, you can plant the flowers that were harvested from another plant. After a few days, you will have both a new plant and also a pile of dried cannabis on the ground where you planted the flower. I always clear out all of my caches before I launch the game. Attached is my batch file, saved as plain text, since I cannot upload '.bat' files here for some reason. Just rename it to 'cclear.bat', drop it into your "The Sims 3" folder (or subfolder, such as "Saves"), and then double click on it before starting the game.

I just updated KW but now I've been getting the "## ERROR ##: Outfit.Manager.Unlock: LockCount is negative!" notification multiple times and then my game will freeze and I have to force quit. I'm not sure if they are related.

I've disabled Outfit Cleanup in Nraas

 

Also, does anyone know if another comprehensive guide to the mod will be put up again like the blogspot one? Or will the new wiki become more fleshed out?

Did you start a new game, or reload a saved game that you had played with an earlier version of KW? It is highly recommended to start a new game when installing a new version of KW.

 

I did try with a brand new save and just a couple minutes into gameplay I got the same error. Do you maybe have another suggestion?

I had this happening to me as well, although the game did not freeze.

A wise guy told me this, when I asked what was causing it: "Yep. Happens when you save and some sim is changing into another outfit, or an interaction with something outfit-ish is broken while saving and then you reload the game, right then when everything kicks in modwise KW checks for the outfits and thinks they are broken."

 

Delete your cachefiles and when the error pops up, click the sim getting the error and try to change his/her outfit (several mods can be used for this -I have nraas mc)

One thing that might help would be to reset all items in your town using NRaas Master Controller. This will reset all interactions between sims and items (e.g., sitting in a chair, talking to another sim, dancing, etc.). No relationships will be altered, and no possessions will be lost.

 

If you don't have it, install the mod from here https://nraas.wikispaces.com/MasterController

I personally use the base mod plus all the additions.

 

After installing the mod and restarting your game (remember to clear out your caches after changing mods installed), click on City Hall > nraas > Master Controller > Town > Reset Everything. It will take several minutes to complete, based on how big your town is.

 

I regularly do this, about once per sim week. When playing in something really complicated, like Isla Paradiso with all of its dive lots, I had to reset even more frequently.

 

This will also clean up stuck situations, like elevators that won't let any sims on, sims stuck due to bad routing, items that have disappeared, etc.

for stray pets i use register and doodas pet adopt mod. This Mod is somewhere here in this forum. Put this in Overrides. Works mostly for me. sometimes a dog or cat slips through ,but get quickly terminated with Mastercontroller.

I went back several pages and didn't see anything else about it, but my mod works great except that I don't seem to have a live prom for my teens. anyone have any ideas?

Clik on SIm-->Kinkey World-->Options-->Global Options-->And there will be something with options for teens, just turn it to enabled. This can be also in WhooHoo Options, but I think it's i general Options.

 

And about my problems with laging game, it wasn't the mod's fault, my savegame has gone corrupted, but thanlfully I've had older version stored on HDD, a week earlier in game time, so it wasn't horrible. It was my fault, I've tried to add a Sim in Town edit, and I've had full hause, so the game reacted with huge lags. This save had to be deleted.

I think the skill for the web model is exhibition. If you are stuck improving exhibition, go to the skill journal and it will tell you what is needed in order to go up a level.

you can try to use the save cleaner or others way to remove all trash from your saves, when i use it normally my saves goes from 100mb to 60mb and things like that.

 

hints for good perfomance which normally i do,

 

whenever go play a new game clean all caches files and errors file from the mods

after finish play and save use save cleaner to reduce saves

i normally like to use nrass+awesome mods

if needed a limiter for fps

aways have playing games on good fan created worlds or ea redone worlds which normally have many of the lags issues fixed, avoid worlds with elevators and things like that.

Been loving the mod, its great. However, I made a prostitute and a Gigolo and when I finally made it to call girl/boy, I get paid before woohooing the customer but the money in the work tab doesnt update so I'm stuck at level 1 .  Thanks in advance.
