svenchen Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 So, I started playing Skyrim again after a considerable break and I've come upon an issue I don't remember having the last time I played. Essentially all female bodies have caved in/flat/stretched out breasts after they die. Other than that my HDT works fine. I may have had the issue before I stopped playing or maybe I changed something right before it, but there is no way I can remember if or what it may have been. I've also had that issue once before and I somehow got it fixed, but that was when I knew exactly what I had changed and had an idea of what I should mess around with in order to fix it. I can post a screenshot if need be.
Storms of Superior Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Did you get the HDT from LL or Nexus?
svenchen Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 I got them from here. If I'm not mistaken then right now I'm using the 2.3 skeleton and My Body Is Not Jello with my own CT77 preset body. I may have missed something.... damn how I hate coming back from these breaks and trying to remember where I was at. Ohh, 2.43 is out now as well. I'll try that out, perhaps that'll work.
Storms of Superior Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Try the HDT PE from the Nexus. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53996/?
svenchen Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 Tried it, didn't work. Maybe it's a body issue. I think I am using CT77, but perhaps I replaced the meshes in order to try something else and forgot to change back. EDIT: Well, that was it. Turned out I was indeed using some other body that cause it. Thanks for your time though.
svenchen Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 The problem persists... I thought I had it fixed because I checked it on a follower that uses its own body. If I kill any other npc their chest area is still completely caved in and I have no idea what to do now. I tried another body, updated the skeleton and tried the HDT PE from Nexus. Don't really know what to do now. I guess I'll just have to install the whole HDT business from the beginning again. Only thing I can think of is that since the follower uses its own body and that was fine then it still must be some sort of a body mesh issue, but I have no idea what I should replace it with. Maybe I'll use the opportunity to try out Daiemonic's stuff again.
guarra Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Do the breasts crush when you sneak? Cuz I had that problem and in that case i fixed it by changing the load order. Hdt goes on top, then body (cbbe, unp or whatever) with the textures and last the skeleton.
svenchen Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 Nope. Everything seems to work fine until the moment the npc dies. Then the whole chest region just crushes in.
ousnius Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Make sure no other mod overwrites the XPMSE skeleton, in case you use Mod Organizer. Also, some custom followers/races come with their own skeleton. You will have to replace it manually. Another thing to check is make sure your Skyrim isn't running above 60 frames per second (use v-sync or a frame limiter to cap it).
svenchen Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 Okay, turns out its the Selene follower that has a bunch of its own skeleton files that seem to override XPMSE. I disabled it and everything appeared fine, at first glance at least. Only thing was that I couldn't attack anymore or do any animations whatsoever and ended up floating around like a statue. Everyone else's animations seemed fine though. I suppose thats just a FNIS issue as I didn't run it after disabling Selene. Should I just delete the skeleton files with Selene or replace them? I tried moving it to the bottom of the load order before, but that didn't work.

That happens when people "have to" include old shit all the time, instead of saying download the recent bugfixed on on the page.
svenchen Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 Okay, I guess its fixed now. Deleting the files in the hopes that they'll get loaded from XPMSE instead did not work so I just replaced them. Kind of a half-assed way to do it, but I suppose that'll have to do for now. Thanks for help, everyone.
Groovtama Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 just throw xpmse before the overwrite folder in priority, that is where I always say it should go when using mo
