Survey: what you look for in Skyrim adult mods.

I'm just curious about the loverslab userbase's mod preferences, and thought it would be cool to get some data on the matter.

 

I added as many options as I could think of to the poll. I'll add more as you guys bring them to my attention.

I would love to see more dialog activated sexual interludes for Males that doesn't involve Romance or Prostitution...preferably offering both Persuasion and Intimidate options without one preceding the other...an open choice as to which path to follow.

Can you give me some example so I can understand better? You mean like chatting someone up at an inn? Blackmailing someone? I personally would have grouped the former into romance, even if it isn't a long-term relationship.

Best way I can explain it I think would be to give a brief rundown on the Dovahkin I RP to demonstrate...His a born Werewolf, thus very primal, wild nature, an animalistic Predator, no moral compass so neither good or bad, just thinks like an Apex Predator, takes what he wants when he wants, doesn't think beyond that and that includes sex.

 

So would love a Mod that reflects the Predatory nature, basically him able to approach anyone (non-aggressive NPC's such as Town Citizen's etc..) and say, "I want to fuck you in your ass/pussy...or blow job...if you don't hand it over willingly, I will force you", or something along those lines...a Dialog for Predators and Bastards, etc...And of course an opposite dialog, persuasion, for those who want to try and sweet talk for a quickie instead.

I think I am going to have to go with the generic female PC, degrading route, which imo could be an umbrella for slavery, beastility, pregnancy, and BDSM

 

Beyond the tagline content description, what I would like most in a mod is more of an action/reaction dynamic between the PC, NPC, and the world.

 

Edit: interesting; slavery, degrading, BDSM is the second highest in both categories.

My dream would be Dragon Age styled relationships with lots of dialogue, a noticeable development over the course of the game, and consensual, mature sex at the right moment - in general, sth that doesn't feel like "so I'll initiate this scripted animation now"

But I know, that's probably not even feasible for Skyrim and I should just stick to Dragon Age where I can enjoy my cheesy romances

Clarification:

 

I voted wanting to see more slavery/BDSM/degraging, but only because it's the closest thing to what I want to see more of. The option as written is harsher than I intend - see Get Stripped as an example. Humiliating, but not abusive and only somewhat degrading. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have even picked it but it's really hard for me to put to words exactly what I'm looking for, save that it has elements of this option...

 

I also disagree with lumping "feminist" with "respectful" - feminism as a concept encompasses far more than just respect and is not exclusive of any form of sexual activity.

 

 

Also. I'm amused at the correlation in both polls for the Male/Female PC options. I'm also surprised at the number of pregnancy-avoidance responses given how wildly popular those mods seem to be. But I'm even more amused by the fact "Respectful" is avoided by more than it's sought. lol womanhaters (j/k j/k)

I think Pregnancy is readily avoided now because there are so many different mods which already accomplish this.

I personally think there needs to be a bigger growth on way of romance/consensual mods. As it stands now, there are plenty of mods which result in rape and degrading, but very few that involve consensual sex, or dates, or anything like that, and the mods that do exist for this, aren't even supported anymore.

I went with the generic "female PC" option just because I don't really look for anything in particular but for poses. Sometimes I'll be scrolling and something will catch my eye but poses are the main things I look for : p maybe that be an option?

There should be more romance stuff, I use Sex Lab Romance, but it's not romance, it's basically just being a slut, asking NPC's for sex and that's it. But for me, I don't like followers, it causes problems with my game, like crashes, or the follower won't follow me into homes that I made in the CK, even though I navmeshed and did everything right, so a true romance mod would be worthless to me.

I think the issue is that romance is difficult to do. It needs a lot of attention in writing rather than creating scenes, and technical framework. And what is romantic to some might not be for others.

I would vote, but can't cast a vote without also ticking an option for something I would avoid... There's nothing I would avoid. I've got everything on the list somewhere in my own load-order. But I will say I would like to see some pregnancy stuff with higher compatibility and less bugs. I like birthing soul gems but Hentai and Oven are both buggy, script heavy, or lack necessary options.

 

Outside what is listed is that I would like to see some UI elements (bars like Vanilla and Frostfall, preferably) to track pregnancy, arousal, bladder fullness (private needs), etc.

I find the fact that "feminist" is lumped together with "Respectful" odd - the majority of mods on this site are either directly feminist, such as strap-ons, face-sitting, schlongs, etc.,  or potentially feminist, such as BDSM mods, Sanguine's Debauchery, etc. There is rape content, but considering that a giant hulking orc is just as likely to get raped as a tiny breton girl, most of the rape mods aren't sexist at all and, amusingly, unintentionally feminist.

 

Also, BDSM is generally considered to be feminist, even though Devious Devices lacks content for men.

 

Despite the nonsensical geek feminist blog (that got reamed by smarter feminists in the comments), these mods are enjoyed and even made by feminists including myself.

 

Nexus Mods actually has far more sexist content, considering that the vast majority of the armor mods on Nexus are often skimpy, usually hideous, and always objectifying, yet skimpy male armor and mods involving actual sex get taken down. It's an insane hypocrisy. 

 

On a side note, I would like to see more full-coverage armor mods and HDT content. The sex is much sweeter when you aren't basically naked 24/7.
