Did This: Once unzipped the file copy the 4 preset in the destination folder : My Documents / My Games / Skyrim / CME_save BUT there are NO Saves?

This may be a totally dumb question but I'm new to modding, can someone give a step by step instalation of this mod, like where to put each file, when I hit download I saw 3 files to download, the race, the presets and some sound thing, guessing I don't need the sound one but can someone explain the actual race file and the presets.... thank you

After unpacking the files, you simply copy them into the data folder inside Skyrim Special Edition, then activate in NMM.... please let me know where the elf's are when you find them

OK so, about the presets... My game won't recognize ECE for whatever reason. It says there's an error and it can't reach pypirus or whatever. Normally that would be fine, I've got the race itself BUT having an unrecognized race breaks certain quests. I really really like the look of this mod. Is there any way to convert the ECE presets to work with racemenu which my game works fine with. (Sorry if this is an annoyingly stupid question)

I am assuming this doesn't take anything away from Skyrim, just a a whole new race to the game? As in more npc's?

I love the idea if that's the case but the more npc's the harder the game works?
