Fixing the game's lighting

Putting this here rather than in technical support because nothing's actually broken.

Basically it's a problem I've had for ages in this game (regardless of whether I use an ENB or not) which is that the lighting is SHIT, no matter what I do 9 times out of 10 my character looks like complete ass (I'm fairly certain the chalk face that Cris gets is due to the lighting and not her face textures, but if I'm wrong on that please tell me.) So all I'm asking for is a way to make the lighting not fuck up the appearances of my characters. Suggest ENBs if you want but there's a 90% chance I'll ignore it.

For reference here's what the lighting in my game looks like at the moment (it's basically the default lighting with bloom enabled.)

I don't have any problems with lighting. My game looks exactly as I want it to look. I'm using this COBALT ENB preset, that works in conjunction with FNV Realistic Wasteland Lighting and Interior Lighting Overhaul.

Tried that ENB didn't like it (a bit too bright for my tastes) but on the same mod page I did find the Rust ENB which managed to achieve what I wanted (although I still dislike ENBs as a whole, it's a necessary evil however.)

Never looked back with this ENB. Although the my particular Hitman ENB is slightly different, it's still more or less the same.

I managed to get the lighting fixed using the RUST ENB (although I think I've fucked something up with my game since I can't take screenshots with either the razer game booster or the game companion) I still don't like using ENBs but my laziness is making it hard not to. Also @maybenexttime I can't access that mod because I need a log in (and I can't be arsed getting yet another login for yet another mod site unless it has something worth getting on it.)

I'm not an expert on FNV but, seems that your ENB is not casting shadows, the shadows can make your game look way much better...

Also, the face or your character looks bad in certain lights because of the Fallout default tint masks, I always noticed that make female character look like they have moustache and some burn in the face... you can fix that by adding a makeup or apareance mod that improves that.

I wasn't using an ENB in that shot, that was the default lighting + bloom.
