yorishimo-san Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Hi guys, lately I have been getting massive gradual (meaning it gets worse over time) FPS drops when running any SexLab animations. First I thought it had something to do with how many followers I have with me in a cell, but the same happened when testing it in an empty, very small cell. Now, I haven't always had that issue, however, I remember having read somewhere that those FPS drops can be caused by some animation mods, and also that there is a way to fix it. Do any of you happen to know what might be causing this and how I can get rid of it ? Yorishimo
WaxenFigure Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I only see a fixed FPS drop while using SKYUI menus and Alt Tabbing away from the game and then back in fixes that.

By SkyUI menus you mean hitting ESC and navigating through the MCM menus ? Doing that, or opening the console always gives me max FPS;P
-alpha- Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I get this with the latest versions of XP32's skeletons. For some reason my game super lags when a character uses a new skeleton. If I use an older one works perfect. Also check the size of your save file. If the size bloats from ~15MB to 30MB+ over a few saves you might have a problem there.

I am using the latest version of XP32. The largest save files I have are about 5MB, that should be fine. Will check reverting to an older version of XP32. HDT might be causing issues too.
yorishimo-san Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 Post a HDT Log. I am going to assume that you need the hdtPhysicsExtensions.log file, right ? I have attached it to the post as the log itself is just way too long (53k lines, lol). Getting quite a few errors in there but I can't make much of them.
Groovtama Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Skeleton without Belly and HDT Belly bone, use XPMSE2 when mods require it.
yorishimo-san Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 Skeleton without Belly and HDT Belly bone, use XPMSE2 when mods require it. Ok, will do. Hope that fixes it. Thanks for taking a look at the log file.

I have seen that fairly often also. Good to know that alt-tab away and then back will fix it, I've been saving, quitting the game, then reloading.

That's why I mentioned it, I knew I had a easy work around so I thought I should share it. I don't know if it helps with this slightly different situation in this thread but there's hope...
