Toatedsnow Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 If I install a CBBE/UNP/Bodyslide armour replacer, will that contribute to memory/load issues in any significant way? I don't have the greatest system in the world so memory's kind of tight for me - would rather not start crashing on load, especially if I can avoid it.
gvman3670 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 It shouldn't be a problem unless they use super high res textures. Even then you could run a texture optimizer (found on Nexus) to reduce the textures enough to get performance back. Also, TBBP/HDT armors, since they allow jiggling and movement, will work your processor and video a bit harder.
Kendo 2 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Avoid hi-poly meshes too. Necklaces and bracelets with a multitude of individual chain links, clothing and armor with individual pieces not joined together, stuff like that. If do you use those things, restrict them to your character a few NPCs and try not to use them as replacers. They might look great but they are FPS killers.
