saladboy21 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 If so how? I'd get a lot more figured out if I could use it on my laptop.
prideslayer Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 I would probably work if you just copied your entire fallout directory over. I don't remember for sure, but I don't think the NV GECK requires steam to be installed or running; that's a new "feature" of skyrim. I could be mistaken here, in which case.. just install steam and install the game. You don't have to play it on the laptop if it's not powerful enough.
zippy57 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 I can confirm the GECK does not require Steam to be active.
Halstrom Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I've just installed FalloutNV on both computers, Steam doesn't seem to care, unless I tried 2 online at once I suspect.
saladboy21 Posted March 2, 2012 Author Posted March 2, 2012 For the record I now have it going on my laptop thanks to a portable hard drive, which means I might actually be able get something up eventually. After exploding my brain with BrutalRapers I am trying something simpler like messages and dialogue, we will see if I can get anything going worth a damn. Thanks to everyone who helped me.
