Zeta09 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 So I have been scouring the Net and have seen SOME discussion of the issue but no solutions I wonder if I am missing something. I have iNPCs installed with AFT fix and am using AFT. Things have been working so far until I picked up Ynvar (and Yseld but she is working properly). Everything seems to be going ok until our first battle. Where Ynvar is damaged enough to execute the knocked down animation. Once she recovered only her head was remaining. I could talk to her and perform all the normal AFT functions but only her head would show. So I am assuming this is more likely a mesh problem. I just don't know how and what to use to resolve it. I have Immersive Armors, AFT, iNPC w/AFT Fix, using CBBE HDT and I do NOT have the Spell Alchemy mod which seems may have caused problems with this fellow on this thread which they moved to this thread. Regardless MOST of the NPCs/Followers/iNPCs do not have this problem and I had gone to a previous save and/or restarted the game and the Head was still there....just floating around. It seems that there MAY be a solution with the CK kit but I am on bended knee with the experts here first to see if there is knowledge of an easier solution.
myuhinny Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Have you tried facing them opening the console with the ~ button then clicking them and type in disable hit enter then enable hit enter to see if that resets their body?
Zeta09 Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Of all my readings and Google searches NO ONE has suggested this I hope it works I wound up restarting and starting with a new character thinking that the bug was a corrupt save. I'm SURE it will happen so I report back when it does and IF this Fix worked. thanks Myuhinny!
yatol Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I wound up restarting and starting with a new character thinking that the bug was a corrupt save. that's more like a mod conflict
bahamut2119 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Disabling then enabling tends to fix many issues I see in game its always the firs thing I try if a npc is messing up before I hunt for a fix.
Zeta09 Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 On my last playthrough I started attempting what you all what talking about. I seriously did not know you could do that?!?! I wound up creating 6 copies of my follower and a host of other things. Still as far as the OP I haven't incurred the floating head......YET!. I am hopeful that you all are correct and when it does happen I'll report back to let you all know if it worked.
