bigglebojiggle Posted January 4, 2015 Author Posted January 4, 2015 I do not know where I got that particular hdt.xml file from ... but when I downloaded the standard hdt package and looked at the hdt.xml included, I noticed that it did not contain any reference to that certain bone that the log file was complaining about, whereas the hdt.xml file in my game install folder did. So I simply swapped the two files. Is it possible that your hdt.xml contains two references to belly? Mine did ... Not that I'm seeing, I didt ctrl+f then searched for npc belly, only found 1 instance in each file On the XP32 Skelton page it says this "2. IF IT IS NOT THE "NPC PreBelly" BONE, IT MAY BE SOME CRAP IN YOUR DEFAULT XML THAT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERe" I don't really know what it's referring to
Roachboy Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 we're talking about hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml? Located in the SKSE plugin folder?
bigglebojiggle Posted January 4, 2015 Author Posted January 4, 2015 Heres something else that's bugging me, if I decide to forgo the whole hdt thing and reinstall the Maximum Skeleton Extended, why does my character have a static chest when I know for a fact the body type has appropriate weights? These werent issues I had before I made the dumb mistake of reinstalling Skyrim
bigglebojiggle Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 we're talking about hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml? Located in the SKSE plugin folder? Yeah, I had to edit that one and hdt.xml
Roachboy Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Hm ... maybe the problem is on my side ... but I do not have any other hdt.xml.
bigglebojiggle Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 Hm ... maybe the problem is on my side ... but I do not have any other hdt.xml. I downloaded a 14.28 version someone uploaded, it has hdt.xml, hdtm.xml, hdtmww.xml and hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP. What version do you have?
Roachboy Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 14.28 ... and it only contains: hdtphysicsextensions.dll, hdtphysicsextensions.ini and the hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml. Downloaded from loverslab ...

Downloaded from loverslab ... Mine too, but it was posted by a guy claimed to have fixed some stuff, I'm reinstalling 10-24 and trying to go from there since 14.28 is the latest but not the most stable, we'll see how it goes. Also, the guy I'm referring to was on page 15 about midway down, if I remember right his post mentioned that he was including support for werewolves (but that may have been someone else talking about it)
bigglebojiggle Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 It was definitely that hdt I was using, I went to 10-24 and was getting 80 fps in whiterun!
shadowlord445 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I've noticed that HDT presets that have belly jiggle enabled do not play well with children mods. I use RS Children Overhaul, and my frame rate tanks down to like 10 when I am near any kid.

Makes sense, I just use Xvision children, the textures are so much better, the vanilla kids were damned ugly
Groovtama Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 There is also a 3. cause. 3. You are using some XPMSE2 requiring xml but you are not using XPMSE2 on all actors If I read NPC Belly and HDT Belly in the log that is the case.

It looks like everything is working fine, I have hdt running correctly, the XP32 Extended Skeleton Legacy Version, and I've only had frame rate drops in a city and an inn, which is pretty normal. Now I need to fix the stiff Argonian tails (which I think I just need to delete and auxbones folder) and see if theres a way to stop my characters stomach from always shaking, which is not all that big a deal to me
guk Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 AFAIK the HDT Havok Object might be the problem, when it distributes itself to all female actors. Including the XVC or RSC kids. You can test this by targeting one of them in the console, then enter "showinventory". That's one of the reasons why i have none of those child replacers installed atm. Warning - disturbing spoiler content ahead XVC in particular makes the boys look like some kind of boogeyman from an aphex twin music video, how can you even play the game with that installed?

Youre right, it calmed down when I took the ring off, but at times it can still go haywire, I'm just going to disable the havok object.
