Sexout and TTW

After much struggle, I've finally got TTW working. This has me very stoked. But now Sexout isn't working. I'm using Sexout Sex and Rapist, and while the dialogue options are available and I even get the karma loss from attempting to rape people, nothing happens. No stripping, camera doesn't change, there's no implication that it even tries to do anything.

Some detail not shown in the load order. All of the mechanics-side (NG, SCR, Preg and Spunk) are up-to-date as of yesterday. The two plugins not active are Preg and SCR debug. NVSE is the most up-to-date version as linked in the Spunk OP and extender version is 15.

lol Pride. I gave up on TTW after 5 separate installations where it would vary each time on when the game would crash. Either the main menu with the infinite menu screen wait then CTD, to leaving Doc Mitchell's house and Bam! And everything in between. Maybe someday I will try again just not right now. lol

I got TTW working with sexout using a "fallback" esp somewhere in the forum   Rapist itself with the b button initiation has started to fuck up with new versions of Sexout so I don't use it anymore, regrettably.  It works pretty well but it recently started stuttering a bunch (probably the vault 101 revisited mod).  Also sometimes the animation timing is off, which is an issue i never experienced with standalone NV.

 

But it's all working for me, I'd point you towards the fallback but I'm not sure where I found it exactly.

You need to turn on 'debug mode' in the sexout MCM, and then use SCOF (before you try to have sex) to have it save the log.

 

something like

scof "debug.txt"

In the console will make a debug.txt from that point forward. Get to the problem, quit, and send me the file.

Weird. It started. Finished CSE. Moved on to normalize or SAN.. and nothing. That or the logfile was truncated, that happens sometimes. Try reducing load order. Just test by disabling some things and testing again, see if one of the mods is causing it.

Ok, I cut a few things and will try again. The weird part is it's worked before. This is the first time I've ever got TTW working, and I've been experimenting with different interesting-looking mods and then removing them if they were boring or didn't work. Could I have just broke things for this character and need to start a new one?

It's unlikely. Sexout isn't really subject to those character-breaking things, at least not without throwing errors in the debug output. Also next time, you don't have to turn on the scanner debug, just normal debug. Scanner debug is pretty spammy.

 

Just try without a selection of the mods.. say half of them. If it doesn't still have the problem, try without the other half. Keep cutting it in half to narrow it down.

 

The only things that can keep sexout from working, generally, are mods that add animations (of any kind), and bad junk in the NX or NVSE save files. All of those problems do result in more logged data than you have though.

Well I did my retest before reading your response so scanner debug is still on, sorry. I only removed a few mods I either don't use or have already passed in an attempt to clear any other extraneous log data. Still no luck with sex.

Did you look at that log before sending it.. or at it's size? It is basically empty.

 

My recommendation beyond what I already said is to:

 

1. Load, turn ON so debug, OFF scanner debug.

2. Save.

3. Quit.

 

Now from here on when you start the game, BEFORe you load it, enter the console (at the main menu) and enter the SCOF command. That makes sure everything gets captured.

Well, I made an interesting discovery completely on accident. I had tried for a while to figure things out and finally gave up in frustration and just continued playing, when I arrived at Tranquility Lane. Ling's Finer Things affected the women in the sim and they looked nice, so I experimented. No matter which position I tried the women looked like they were masturbating (presumably because I was, maybe kinda, a kid) but that wasn't the point. Sex started. So apparently it's my character that is the problem somehow. Will that SCOF trick work with inventory printouts? I'm fairly sure I have something I shouldn't in my inventory, but I can't get through it all because it prints out every single key I've collected and 2/3 are quest objects that can't be dropped.

SCOF works for everything going to the console. If you can see it there, it goes to the file.

Well I went through my inventory, put what I could in a container, and deleted most of what was left as quest items for quests I already completed. Turns out there's nothing in my inventory that shouldn't be. I tried sex again once out of the sim, hoping there was some sort of miracle that fixed things but no, back to no sex.

 

I think I'm just gonna give up on this character ever getting laid.

Just thought I mention it here... I just started using SexoutSexLite on TTW today. Previously was using Wsex. I think I can say it worked well... (sorta, coz I kinda forgot to install body for males and end up with a flying head having sex...)

Since I was just trying it out for the first time, I didn't install any other mod (I followed BruceWayne's guide) except for SexoutSexLite. And since I was in a hurry to test it, I resurrected Old Lady Palmer (I think... the dead lady in the cafeteria...) and all of the sex options was usable except for the threesome... (which was the reason I stumbled upon this thread.)

 

Which bring me to my question, how to do a threesome? I resurrected the other dead guy (Lloyd sumthin...) and he agreed for the threesome and all but nothing happens...

That might have been useful...like, a month ago. Scrapped that playthrough, ditched TTW, and rebuilt my game from scratch long ago. I appreciate the thought, though.
