Double body bug

I have this strange error where female player models base bodies show up below their clothing.  I have no idea what caused this glitch and have tried a few things to no avail.

 

I blamed SAM, turned it off, turned it back on, with no change.  I rearranged the orders of my ECE and Racemenu plugins but I don't think they have anything to do with it.  I sorted and resorted with BOSS and LOOT, but those seem to spread the RS Children plugins at random and cause me to have to reorder those manually, the previous problem persisted.  I blamed Bodychange which has its own problems but I don't think this is one of them.  I became aware of this after changing having a character put on some armor and spotting this clipping through.  It seems like if I use a Bodychange body it is fine, but if I use the default body (which is currently UNPB) this happens.

Not sure but isn't RaceMenu.esp RaceMenuPlugin.esp the same? Try turning one of them off and see if it fixes it.

Which I admit I did downsize a character with it with little problem.  Way back when.  (Skyrim really should have had a height adjuster in the first place.)

Maybe the clothes and body you use are not compatible ?? like mixing CBBE and Adec or vice versa try and check if the clothes uses the same body type as the body you use so if you use UNPB use UNPB clothes and not UNP etc..

Well, I use UNPB body for default, and UNPB based clothing for the most part.  I used to go with CBBE but then I got Immersive Armors which for months had no compatibility with CBBE, so I switched to UNP.  For any CBBE outfits I have floating around, I have bodychange to keep skin textures neat when I want to use them.

 

Anyway, after looking over help threads at Hall of Torque I learned that it really was SAM.  Its scripts clash with XPMS skeleton whether the ESPs are enabled or not. and unfortunately with the awkward start up adjusting it frequently did, this problem with female bodies was another side effect.  I can't use the skeleton that came with SAM because I also use Dual Sheath Redux, Animated Dragon Wings, and the height slider with Racemenu Plugin.  Once I swept the SAM files out completely, the problem went away.  Maybe I can get SAM back once the skeletons are consolidated and all the kinks are ironed out.
