anyone know of any mountable horse mods, similar to oblivion,i feel this would add alot more the the western theme of the game, and have seen videos online but have not found any actual mods

There are no horse mods for Fallout for two reasons:

1) No one has taken the time to make one, and I'm sure it would be something of an undertaking.

2) All the horses are dead. Fallout canon has it that none of them survived the aftermath of the Great War.

i know its not lore friendly but i think it would add to immersion of the game. the rideable motorcycle mod is kinda buggy an just doesnt it in on how i like fallout.has anyone ported an oblivion horse into fallout vegas?

Not that I've seen. I don't know if it would work or not - there's some evidence that some of Oblivion's horse coding is still in Fallout, seeing as though there's things like lastriddenhorse, but I don't know if it's all present. If someone's ever ported a horse in, I haven't seen it.

I saw horse that got ported from oblivion to fallout nv. But author made it for own use, I saw it on youtube. Best luck searching there.

Yep and what is more, it's the same guy who uploaded motorcycle for NV on nexus.

He won't make horse for public because from what I remember he was afraid of some copyrights problem or something like that. It's because he used things for this horse in straight line from Oblivion.

(Not sure but it's possible that even bethesda warned him)

The more important question though here at LL is, "Is there a horsemod capable of mounting the player?" :)

Well done mate, pity we didn't have horses in Fallout lore, though I'm not opposed to some fucging of the cannon for important things :)

Nope.

There is a mount horse mod.

it was never released on nexus because the author used oblivion Horse resource and it will get banned the moment its putted up.

You could see it in some screen shots through

The Author is active on 3dm and komica, you could go ask if you know Chinese.

I wouldn't say horses actually don't exist anymore. Maybe not in North America' date=' though.

I thought one of the Fallout graphic novels had horses, though?

All Roads - the only Fallout graphic novel that I know of - shows all the NCR troopers at the Bitter Springs massacre riding horses. It's a continuity error.

Horse mod would be no problem just as long as you can get the proper animations for it.

A model and textures is easy enough.

But getting that thing animated (walk, run, rear up on hindlegs, get backup after ragdolled, ect ect) , now THAT is the only thing really stopping this from becoming a reality.
