Yuni Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Not every time, but often, when the game starts an animation, the game just crashes. It doesn't matter if the animation is from TDF Agressive Prostitution or from Sexlab Submit surrendering, or Defeat getting knocked down (I use them for separate events), or WHAT, but the game likes imploding. Attached papyrus log for helping. I see the error near the bottom, 'cannot cast from none to ssl baseanimation' or something like that. I'm wondering if I have just WAY too much shit installed. Papyrus.0.log Edit: 160 mod files, counting the base package. I'm aaaallllmost at the limit. Hot damn.
LibertyPrime Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Random crashing on animation start could be several things, including your game being overloaded with scripts, but I'm fairly sure I'm gonna shoot it down within a few words. Have you updated SexLab to the latest patch? A lot of people were having the same problem as you, including me.
Yuni Posted November 14, 2014 Author Posted November 14, 2014 I THOUGHT I was up to date, but apparently there's a difference between the version, and just putting a 'c' at the end of the version number, that much I hadn't noticed, and this was the bug they mentioned fixing. Seems stable enough so far, thank you for the info. My version number was the same as the most recent release, so I would not have noticed.
Kendo 2 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 I'm having the same issue with Sexlab 1.59 and the framework. When the animations are called for older mods like Submit, Approach, Enhanced Spouses, etc. the game will CTD when the animations start. Note these same mods will work flawlessly with Sexlab 1.57. I also get the expected crashes when using a mod that has been updated specifically for 1.59. (I say 'expected' since mods with scripts and animations are cancer to skyrim.) So I know the mods meant to work with 1.59 work and older ones do not. I know this is not a FNIS issue or the other things people point to. Mods meant to work with 1.57 work. Mods meant to work with 1.59 work. The issue is older mods not working with 1.59. I'm wondering if there is a way for a player to update the esps of older Sexlab mods (1.57 or earlier) so they will work with 1.59. Maybe something is possible in the CK? I don't know. So I'm asking.
bradleyh Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 I was able to play a few older Saved Games after installing the latest version of Papyrus Utility separately, but I still get the occasional C++ Runtime Errors and CTD's.
