Getting HDT Physics Working

Ok....to start off, I am a bumbling amateur when it comes to mods. I have the following mods installed using Nexus Mod Manager in no particular order:

*HDT Breast And Butt Physics - TBBP BBP Supported
*HDT Physics Extensions
*XP32 Maximum Skeleton -XPMS
*Calientes Beautiful Bodies Edition -CBBE
*SKSE_1_07_01

I've tried a variety of installation and load orders. I've tried different skeletons  and different body replacers. Cosmetically, I have the body tailored to the way I want it. But.......no breast or butt animation. Just a static body. I wanted to get that to work first, and then work on armors. I also have tried Mod Organizer and get the exact same results. Any idea where I might be going wrong? Am I missing a mod/file? Do I have an incorrect/incompatible version of something? Any help would be gratefully appreciated!!

Hm, if you want CBBE with working HDT, then you need (in this order)

- HDT Physics Extension

- A HDT xml file with the data, I suggest More Believable Physics (not too phantasy, has Belly node)

- Realistic Ragdolls and Force

- Bodyslide 2 and Outfit Studio

- CBBE

- XPMS Extended (NOT 1.93a)

After you've installed all this, open the Bodyslide tool and choose in the most top left dropdown list the body "CBBE HDT". Next, tweak the sliders as you want and then click the big button below in the middle.

You're welcome ;)

Thank you for the replies. Pretty sure I've tried both combinations, but as I've alread spent about 8 hours on it.....might as well give it another shot. So....the order is critical, as I had already read? In some attempts, I was prompted to overwrite some textures and meshes (I think) How do I know if I should do (or not do) that?

xpms is the skeleton and should overwrite when prompted. Other than that I don't see what else could possibly ask for a mesh overwrite. Install the body texture you want last to make sure you're getting the one you want.

edit: oops reading it again i forgot you're using bodyslide. Yes overwrite once you've built the body you want. Those will be the new meshes.

True, however when using Mod Organizer, it's better to have the order like this:

  1. Realistic Ragdolls
  2. XPMS Extended
  3. HDT PE
  4. CBBE
  5. BodySlide 2

Well I have to say I always put XPMSE at the very end though I'm using MO. It's better for the consistency of the skeleton thoughout the different mods afaik.
