enkephalin07 Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Is it possible for your spouse to divorce you? None of the wikis mention this, but for some reason they also don't mention the love letters your spouse can get from lovers, or affairs they can have. I've let it go because I'm a busy adventurer, but wonder whether one day I'll come home to find they've eloped together with a "Dear John" letter.
Rayblue Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 So far, some mods can allow you to divorce the lore way, but if you want it quick, this has a batch file to carry out a divorce: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34469/?
enkephalin07 Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 Finding a divorce mod is easy. What I asked in the OP is whether the spouse would divorce you.

enkephalin07 Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 I didn't think so, but they did think of extramarital affairs, so it didn't seem totally implausible.

That sounds like Lover's Comfort that you are using, because far as I know, in the vanilla game, your spouse doesn't cheat on you. Ever. But with Lover's Comfort in, they DO... even in front of you. =_= -C
Akzyra Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 It could be done, would add some punishment for never being home and raiding dungeons instead.
enkephalin07 Posted October 30, 2014 Author Posted October 30, 2014 What Lover's Comfort does is make them fuck on the floor as soon as I enter. But I doubt Lover's Comfort is behind the love notes from the housecarl in my wife's inventory, or the dialog option to brawl with her over it.
