I wanted to start modding but I can't register to Nexus mods.

Idk if this is the right place for this topic, but hopefully I either get redirected to the correct place or get some help.

 

So I finally decided to try modding my Skyrim, but each time I try to register to Nexus mods I get an error:

"forums.nexusmods.com Driver Error

There appears to be an error with the database."

 

I filled all my info correctly, but the site keeps giving me that same error. What's going on with the site?

 

It's pretty important for me to get an account there because I can't get some required mods and patches.

The Nexus has difficulties from time to time. I would just let it ride for a day or two and then try and create your account, I am sure the issue will only be temporary.

Thank you. I thought it was more rare than that and got a bit worried they wouldn't let anyone register anymore.

It means the site is experiencing terrible server problems, and that the competence of the sysadmins are in question. 

 

And this is in the middle of a week, not a weekend.
